But with the older format (one BO7) CJ lost on the first day... Or im wrong?

yeah
I wasn't watching, but if people are talking about speed, it was almost definitely Outsider - Loner.
아웃사이더 - 외톨이
It was outsider, but it was a different song
edit: Thanks though, I sounded unappreciative there.
To hopefully end the derail, what you guys saw was "Loner: The AION Online version", and the song lyrics are about being alone and needing to join up with a party and opening your friends window and shit.
There seems to be a trend in Korea these days with K-pop stars recording custom songs/custom versions of songs for big companies. Outsider's recorded a song for Intel to promote the Intel Core i7 processor. Big Bang recorded "Lollipop" with a previously unknown girl group, 2NE1, to promote a line of LG cell phones. The song was a hit outside of its context and launched 2NE1's career. Then Samsung paid some rapper (don't know her name) to do a song about their Sens laptop computer line, and after "Lollipop" they got Son Dambi and yet another previously unknown girl group (After School) to sing "AMOLED"... again about a line of cell phones, with organic light-emitting diode screens.
I gotta say I'm not surprised by the results. I knew when CJ lost yesterday that they were at a huge disadvantage already. At least it was nice to see CJ make a comeback today but Jaedong is just a god in ZvZ. I'm dissapointed but I guess I can accept it since I do like Jaedong a lot. Would have been nice for Effort to have won since the team matters more than the player.
At least now I'll get to see Jaedong vs Bisu, I mean who isn't excited for that? Don't think I'll root for any one side since i like both teams. Though there are more players on T1 that I like, if it does go into the super ace match, hoping JD takes it Zerg pride after all~

No offense, but this complaint is just stupid. In the NBA finals, if the Lakers beat the Magic 4 times by an average of 2, and the Magic beat the Lakers 3 times by an average of 10, which is the better team? The fucking Lakers.
This is no different than any other sport on the planet that has a bo format.

hahaha I hope this is sarcasm? CJ beat Khan 7 : 7. That's not really fair either. If you go by the rationale of overall win count, then they should have played a super duper ace match.
Man... I guess we know now why JD has never lost more than 4 games in a row. I think most programers would've crumbled after that humiliating lost to orion but JD came out even stronger.
I still don't know what Oz can do against SK though. I mean JD vs Bisu is a 50/50 toss up. Then you have fantasy, and Canata... Scary...

Although I would have to agree with you on some levels, it also punishes teams that don't have exceptionally strong players. If they didn't have the super ace match, what kind of method could they use to decide the winner? Have a day 3? I think that would take too much time + money and super ace is more efficient

I can't believe that this is even possible ;-;
So everyone must suck on the 'dong? (It's a pun, not clever, but just saying)
Why do you think I'm a rabid SKT1 fan? Terran's are the supreme race!
Worst poster in TL serious...
And Terrans are supreme, supremely overpowered, thats why they have the highest winning percentage in all broadcasted matches ever played
To be honest you aren't that far off.

yeah the only poster that is even close to rivaling Aegraen is that AzureEye dude

It is disappointing but... gotta give props to JD. He is a beast. =l
Not discrediting Jaedong at all since he is a beast and my second favourite player, but it's still sad though =( Guess I'll root for Jaedong in proleague since he is my second favourite player. It just feels weird since Anytime is gone. Oh Anytime, how I miss you.
Keep fighting CJ! We will get the gold for Proleague in the next one!

O rly? 5-5 by my count; or is there a reason that you aren't counting the ace match in your count of wins? And if you want to cut off the count early, why not cut it off after day 1 when--guess what?--Oz was winning again.
In fact, if you would chart who was winning in terms of game count after each game from 1-10, CJ would be ahead twice and tied three times. Oz would be ahead the other five times. But hey, why not put an arbitrary cut-off at game 9 so we can whine about the stupid format?

hmmmm I think it had something to do with fear, not nervousness
Are you referring to what SDM said? My memory is telling me it's nervousness......but now I'm having doubts because fear does seem sort of right. Oh well, still sort of cool to see Jaedong's emotions in interviews.
commentators: please tell us your midnset~ jd: i've never played in the grand finals.. so with this opportunity i really want to live up to expectaitons, and i'll make sure this 2009 grand finals is hwaseungs~
Isn't this wrong? Didn't Jaedong lose to Frozean in the grand final of 2007? Maybe it' a mistranslation and jaedong actually said 'I've never won in the grand final before.'

Well... they could make it a bo15, split over two days, with 7 games on the first day, and 7 games + ace on the second day. (Or to preserve the ace idea, 6 games + ace match each day --> super ace.)
