quite a milestone for sparkyz, first finalist since casy in 2006.

ironically, this OSL also has no protoss in the Ro8

Lol, Leta pulling a Casy would be quite epic.

Actually these brackets seem like they will produce some pretty great semifinals and finals - so other than the sadness of team infighting are actually pretty solid

The only weakness I see is the possibility of a Yarnc vs Jaedong finals which, aside from being ZvZ (which I enjoy personally but its not exactly a crowdpleaser and its certainly not as good as ZvT) I think would be pretty underwhelming anyway for the OSL's first ZvZ finals.

At least Sparkyz should be proud of themselfs all 4 players are in the Ro8 and 1 of them is going to be in the finals either leta or yarnc . About time a sparkyz player gets to taste a bit of fame in the leagues . Imo just looking at the names in the Ro8 Jaedong outclasses them all by a large margin . I wouldn't be surprised if he gets the golden mouse , but at this stage of the OSL anything can happen .

Thanks for the translation GTR! Ro8 looks rather... No comment D:

Man, I just realized how weak all the sparkyz are against protoss.
That's not awful writing, DAMMIT. It's perfectly sensical english construction.

(T)go.go vs (Z)YarnC Pretty Easy for YarnC
(T)Leta vs (Z)type-b Its going to be fun... I will give Type-b the win (He plays against Leta in practice... and always on team fights the "better" player lose
(T)fantasy vs (T)Canata This is for fantasy (I just dont want to se Canata more PLZ
(Z)Jaedong vs (Z)ZerO Poor zero... 3-0 on his group... pretty sick usage of queens and he gets fucked by playing JD... I predict 2-1 for JD losing the first game =P

Thats due to their crappy tosses in the team, just look at who they have Horang2? That guy is terrible straight up, so how do you expect them to improve. Although one thing to look forward towards. OGN has the best average TvZ/ZvT out of all the teams and Leta/Yarnc are the 2nd best at that mu, so that semis has potential for epic win.

ZerO can devote ALL of his energy into practicing for ZvZ, whereas JD has a lot of other stuff on his plate. A ZerO upset is possible, and I like both players so it's all good. I wish both of them could move on, but oh well :S

How amazing is it that Hite managed to qualify the most players for OSL, and then ALL FOUR manage to advance to RO8?

Wonder how many "this is the real finals" jokes we're going to get when JD faces Fantasy in the semis.

A Leta versus Yarnc semi also looks likely (and could be quite good - Leta versus the other twin in a BO5)

Except Jaedong breathes ZvZ even in his sleep..

Are you kiding Jaedong vs Yarnc would be the best possible final for me since they are two of my favourite players to watch in ZvZ and ZvT at least .

Agreed - this is one of those cases where lack of practice is borderline irrelevant. Don't let the Yarnc game fool you - this is the same Zero who lost to Luxury 0-3. He is very good at ZvZ in general though. Too bad he's playing JvZ.

jeez Hwasin played like absolute trash :l losing the marine to the SCV, targeting all the units that weren't at low health, he could have fought that off way better.

He deserves the title of Insurance Terran

Yeah, the Sparkyz school of ZvT is soooo sick. It sucks that they're bunched up, but the games there are going to be incredible.

For me my dream finals was Leta vs Yarnc, now I get to see that potentially in the semis hopefully, the best finals out of this bracket would be Leta vs Zero though, that would be really epic in terms of style and awesomeness, a close second would be Leta vs Jaedong. Leta and Zero are both really entertaining players and would make an epic final.
