it means you play the first placed of another group in ro8. it is likely to be a stronger player than second placed, but it's not always like this of course.

Flash can decide to

1) Cheese and just get this pointless match over with. It doesn't matter if he win or lose so he would rather just go home early ( or back to practicing early). Effort fans would hate him yes but they would have an excuse about how Flash "cheesed" thus nullifying the Flash > Effort statement.

2) Play straight up against a person who practice a shitton (and is very good) for this match up when flash himself didn't even practice. If he wins, effort fans will hate him and he will gain nothing. If he loses, fans from both sides will now believe effort > flash and that flash sucks.

I don't know who in the right mind would pick 2.

sad taht effort is out and we dont get to see a tiebreaker, but i can fully understand why flash choose this strat. what i dont get is why effort didnt see it coming.

i dont want to say that jd threw his game against yarnc on purpose, but if he did it turned out brillantly for him because by giving the game to yarnc he not only kicked out flash but also helped yarc advance instead of effort. so there is less potential left in the bracket. on the other hand i expect yarnc to be a free win to most of the other s-class players while effort might have taken out some of the threats for jd.

anyway, lets hope for a more epic stork vs fantasy now.

what is his busy schedule exactly? all he must care about is MSL, effort is pretty much in all tournaments and should practice for PL as well. Flash showed no respect to his opponent, I have no problem with him winning the game and therefor securing Yarnc and JDs spot for Ro8, but this was not the way he had to do it. If the game was from no importance to him than he showed no respect for the tournament and the fans as well. I'm maybe upset for no real reason, or maybe I feel robbed just like when Jaedong 9 pooled and BMed Boxer with proxy hatch.

So, Flash, I really wanted to like you, you amazed me with your gameplay, but now pls die. You are overhyped as fuck and nothing absolutely separates you from all other one hit wonder players, which won only one tournament in their entire life.
