This can go 3:0 either way =P At least Mind will win, unless he gets gayed the way he did by Free which will piss me off so much (and then after that Plexa bans me =P)
SKT 3-1 BeSt loses because for the second fucking time, someone figures out that best goes 2 base carriers then hits a timing window before best rolls. Well yeah, BeSt goes 2 base arbs 99% of the time against T, the remianing 1 percent being the game where he cheesed Boxer in SCR.
Or actually 3-0 if Mind lets BeSt go 2 base arbiters.
Thezerg > RorO - ZvZ is iffy, but I think Thezerg has been playing better than Roro lately. BeSt > Mind - Probably just SKT (and Best) fanboyism here because Mind could definitly win this the way Best has been playing though. Bisu > keke - Bisu's PvZ
If Best or Thezerg loses, I expect Fantasy to beat Pure pretty easily to seal the SKT win.

Haha good choice. Whenever I made predictions in the OP.. something bad happened. Like.. SKT1 LOSING. =(
yeah, besides some months ago I was easily one of the most annoying bisu fanboys, it has been so actually forever, so I dont need really to make predictions for a match with KTY involved
Thezerg < RorO Okay, sure Thezerg won his last match against Luxury. And sure that was the only win SKT1 got in that match. It doesn't change anything. He's still a failzerg. Keep in mind that he was playing Luxury! LUXURY! That said, He has a shot at this one, RorO is just as awful. But in the end, I'm predicting SKT1 will win this match, and that means that the SKT1 zergs will have no part of it. BeSt > Mind I haven't seen anything of late that would back me up on this, but I maintain that BeSt is actually a good player. His last results have been much to inconsistent to be sure of anything, but if you can pick a match-up that he's played well in, it's PvT. This is more of a gut call then anything else. Bisu > keke I really love keke, he's a player who always seems to be able to hang with the best players, but will never ever actually win the series. This'll be a good game to watch, but keke will not win. It won't happen. fantasy > Pure fantasy is great against Protoss, Pure is awful against Terran. Game, set match.
I hope Best loses so I can watch Fantasy win. Rawr. I've always had a minor hate for Best - maybe not hate but a lack of respect as he has shown us nothing since EVER.
It's about time thezerg remembered that he is, after all, a T1 zerg. Last month he was getting a little delusional thinking he might actually be good...

Didn't take long to notice Fortunately daum's at surprisingly high quality today. fascinating how quickly a thousand leechers filled up konadora's channel though.
Best did not have enough goons to hold of Minds push. I think a reaver was being made but it did not come out in time to help. Mind got siege mode when we was in Best's base and took out every probe except for 2. Best GG'd

Just to re-cap, Mind had a 2nd factory but made his push look like an FD. After opening 2 gate, BeSt decided to expand (he was faked out by Mind). Mind then pushed out with 3 tanks + vultures/marines against like only 3 goons, then proceeded to rape all of BeSt's probes. Very very strong execution of 2 fact push.
Best wasn't going for reavers. He went for an earlier than normal expo after he was able to break Mind's initial push and contain him with goons. I could be wrong, but I think Best was expecting mind to research tech earlier rather than just pump out tanks and vultures and rines. It might help explain Best's extremely tardy reaction to Mind's 2nd push out of his base, in which he immediately lost a goon and then lost another in the chase back to his base.
What happened: What happened was a 2fac push from Mind, right after BeSt had deemed it safe to expand out of his initial 4-goon-pressure. I think he assumed Mind was doing a FD. BeSt had no observers and had to pull probes for defence. Mind was attacking with 3 tanks, a few vultures and a marine. Kept calm, killed the probes and walzed inside, siege mode completed, he sieged up and sniped all probes clumped up. BeSt realizes he can't bounce back and GGs.
O ya that's true Mind got a 2nd factory. That's how he got so many tanks and vultures out so quickly. A fake fake double. Man that's impossible to anticipate.

He was just getting obs. No support bay making.
Ah ya i didn't see it thats why i said i thought one was being made. I figured after Best noticed the 3 tanks he would have tried something else
BTW I don't think people do this enough. Thank you to all the livestreamers, I don't have anything downloaded on this computer and would be lost without you guys! :D
Bisu had a huge advantage when his sairs reached critical mass, and still had the advantage even after he lost his sairs b/c keke had only muta tech. It was more keke's epic strategy fail after razing Bisu's nat than it was Bisu being especially awesome.
What keke should have done after he saw the goons and 2 sairs was switch to hydra tech and pump out drones while Bisu turtled in his base.

He tried to do that. Bisu's attack was right before he'd make the transition to hydras.
Protoss and Terran both on two bases. Dts are roaming, and obs are out and protoss is pushing out his natural. Dropship is out, fantasy needs to do something with the dropship.
Pure catches the dropship and Pure is taking a third.
On May 30 2009 14:26 vincimus wrote: Felt like Pure coulda done a lot more damage with those DTs than he did.
Thats because youre used to crap D+ players defending your DTs.
Lol I don't even play toss... he didn't have any scanners up.. or turrets.. rax was floating.. i didn't see much of fantasy's base but he coulda put a DT in there to kill SOME scvs.
holy fuck pure was just 10 miles ahead of fantasy that whole game. He knew exactly what fantasy was going to do the whole time and countered perfectly. Looks like fantasy needs to start mixing up his TvP style.
So much for Fantasy's "revolutionary" TvP. Vulture drops are cute, but when you do it in every game and your opponent can see it coming from miles away...

It means who IS 100% consistent? No one wins every single time you expect them to. People need to stop complaining about it.
Yea, but fantasy doesn't win many games, unlike bisu, jaedong, leta, and flash when he isn't slumping.
Since fucking when?

Not really. The lineup came very favorably for Fox. Thezerg is still a T1 zerg. Mind happened to catch a slumping Best. Those are two matchups they're favored in. All that's left is some sort of cheesy play against Fantasy/Bisu. One time it worked. The other it didn't.

really sorry about that, I made all the LR threads because I thought I will be able to update the results, but something unexpected came out. really sorry.... (bows)

Don't worry. I never understand why people bitch about updating results on a big games where there are always at least 10 posts with sth like 'player h gg's!!!!!!!!!!'.

my fantasy team and my liquibet T_T
RorO -and- Pure here. Neither of them should have won ;___;
Pure played an incredible game. He obviously did his homework regarding Fantasy's harasses. I find that game more of a Pure win rather than a Fantasy loss.
Failzerg failed though. He was obviously too comfortable with cross positions and didn't even stock on lings after such a great economy build.
Does anyone else miss Bisu's old PvZ? When I first watched Bisu, his PvZ used to have a LOT of harassing and multitasking. His shuttles would be everywhere with reavers/ high templars. Then he would proceed to expand when a harass was successful. Now it is straight up play with just a few DTs to sneak in and steamrolling the Z.
Don't get me wrong. I still love to watch everything Bisu, but I kinda miss the multitasking harasses that he did.

Hmm I feel exactly the opposite. Recently I've watched the series vs savior from Ever OSL again, he played absolutely terrible for his standards. In the game on Katrina he wasted 3 scouting probes to lings w/o speed, then when savior dropped his natural with 8 hydras, Bisu didnt even bother using his probes to defend, just left 2 cannons and the nexus eventually to die, this would never happen today.
Pure really did his homework on Fantasy. He knew Fantasty always get early dropship. Once Pure stopped it, Fantasy was wide open trying to secure a 3rd.
