KTF takes this 3-1, thanks for great performances by Luxury (he has to win once in a while, ffs), Flash (who will get his revenge against fantasy) and another lackluster performance by Best, who will keep his on going streak of being outplayed by (supposedly) inferior players.

Actually this game is pretty much a tossup, since Luxury has apparently lost all of his ZvZ skill since winning the LS MSL. However, I think he can get his ass in gear for this one. Thezerg looked awful against hyvaa in his last outing for T1...plus he has to maintain his reputation as a T1 FAIL ZERG.

BeSt > (Z)

HoeJJa
HoeJJa is one of the most overrated players in SC. He had eons to prepare for that WL Playoff set against Bisu on Destination, so I'm not surprised he played well there. Since? He's 7-10 and on a 5-game losing streak. Fact is this kid can't stack up against good players, and he's facing one. Especially on Heartbreak Ridge this game should be no problem for BeSt.

Bisu > (P)

Violet
Easiest call of the night. Violet has been a silver lining for KTF in R4, but Bisu is Bisu and he is looking especially ridiculous in PvP lately. Violet might put on a good show (like BackHo or Shuttle before him) but in the end KTY will be too much. I hope the KTF coaches are smart enough to advise Violet to cheese.

fantasy > (T)

Flash
Their last meeting was disappointing for everyone involved...now Fantasy has another chance to prove that he's the best Terran in the world (by defeating Flash straight up in a macro game). Anyone who's been watching Fantasy or Flash games lately can tell you that Fantasy is simply the better player.

Bisu > Violet is a lock, but I can see either BeSt or Fantasy losing with probability roughly equal to the odds that Thezerg will win. So, all things considered, I think a 3>1 T1 win is highly likely.

Because neither of these teams has a clear Zerg ace, the 5set on Battle Royal will be interesting. I expect KTF to send Luxury if Flash loses or both Flash and Luxury win, and Flash if Luxury loses. T1 will not take a chance at sending Hyuk out because of his god-awful ZvT, so their options are Thezerg or Fantasy. I'm leaning towards the latter. Yes, we could very well see a TvT on Battle Royal in this match.

It's hard to tell with HoeJJa, really... 7-10 isn't that impressive, but if you look at the games what he's doing is being a second-string player who wins when he should, loses when he should, occasionally plays brilliant, and can't play his mirror-matchup. His only "bad" loss is to Juni - a decent Zerg - in ZvZ which (like I said) he can't play. BeSt would normally be heavily favored even with his sloppy-as-anything PvZ, but BeSt is sort of slumping right now - that's what makes this game a tossup.

Yeah, 4-3 in R4 with one loss being a failed cheese and another a very well-fought uphill build order battle...he blows for sure.

Also: for a player to be overrated, people have to think he's good - and everyone is well aware of BeSt's (relatively) poor performance recently. Didn't you read his last interview where he addressed the many fans berating T1 for sending him out in the ace against WeMade?

hehe! I like Flash too, so I really hope his game with Fantasy isn't a letdown like last time. But I just think Fantasy is the all-around better Terran at this point.

In any case, I their set (and this match) should be a tight viewing experience. May the best man win!!
