Now that's called hype, can't wait for this match.
This should be a fun match. Remember what happened last time Bisu played RorO?
This was the 4set of T1-WeMade from WL, and the last game to complete Bisu's all-kill. What a game...especially the last few minutes. If you are a Bisu fan, you should watch this! The multitask at the end is one of those moments that makes me step back and appreciate how absurdly good professional SC players are.

Not to mention countless TvTs that were almost an hour with little action.

Man this is going to be so cool. Last time SKT1 played WeMade Bisu walked over then and performed an all-kill. And his game vs roro was one of the easiest he had than.\
I'm predictiing a 3-0 or 3-1 for SKT1, depends if Hyuk decides to win or lose.

Did you see the maps and matchups of SKT1 vs. eSTRO? I say, eSTRO has a serious chance in every single one of those games.
EDIT: Actually, I just watched the matchups again and fantasy looks like a strong favorite over SangHo. The other 3 matchups in the series look pretty uncertain to me, however.
Saying that they won SKT1 when their zerg line up was weak, but after that suffered a huge blow by losing to the first player (Bisu) in the Winner's League, so they have a lot to pay.
As for SKT1, they have a stronger Zerg line up now, so it will be easy for them.

Well there's less competition if you want to date like Shine or whoever. But let's face it, they're only cheering for Shine because he's sitting on the same bench as Nada.
Fun fact. Bisu doesn't care about his main because he's now running around 7 reavers total.
Bisu takes out Roro's third and fourth simultaneously. The only good news for Roro is that Sair-Reaver doesn't really kill people outright, it only kills them over a long, long period of time. Like Bisu is now.
Haha poor lurker micro. It burrowed in cannon's range, then unborrowed and burrowed further away from cannon, but it was still in the range. It died after the second burriw.

Stork used the exact same build against Yellow.
I get the sair-reaver part cause the expo placement is almost like an island map, but why the 2gate at start?
maybe becouse you can expand without forge?
Also because 2 gate is strong vs pool first builds without gas, and also pretty strong vs pool\gas builds also since you can take a back expo first after just a few zealots on this map.
Saying that SKT1 is famous from a long time ago in creating economic advantages, like when Terrans used to fake bunker rushes to force zergs to get more lings and sunkens and pull drones. In this case, Bisu forced RorO to get more lings and 2 sunkens, great economic damage.

That's interesting, I didn't notice that. Thanks for the translation.
9 pool gas for both of them. Lings popping for Hyuk, not as many lings popping for Keke. Damn I thought that yHyuk was just going to run by and win right there.
Hyuk just trapped his lings in the middle of the map. Should we be bothered?
I'm going to go die and get reincarnated and have a religion based around me. My followers shall start several large wars. I'll be here for the mid-game, but probably not before then.
They're showing the replay now. Hyuk somehow managed to cycle his mutalisks to make each of keke's scourge hit different targets. This causes the maximum possible hit point damage.

Give up watching today's games, daum sucking balls, other streams are so/so, and my damn box has had issues with Korean channels for the past few months. Oh well just torrent it or stream it from youtube tomorrow.
The yaoyuan TVants stream works perfectly fine except for occasional choppiness and the fact that it's behind by around 10 seconds. It just happened to murder your internet line for other programs sometimes.
Baby is really starting to show confidence. His games in the GomTV tournament have of course been impressive. And now tearing down Canata with ease... definitely one to watch.
I fear fantasy's tvp, especially his vults but Pure has shown some really solid play in the past... just hope for a GG. If I had to wager money.. Fantasy hands down.

OK, that was hysterical. Fantasy uses his scouting SCV to stand on the ramp and confuse Pure's goon AI. He then used his first vulture to get 7 probe kills in Pure's back expo while the goon wandered around pure's main.

Pure got smart and starting putting cannons in his main. Also note that Fantasy's so busy that he's got like tanks lying all over the place. He is legit.
Macro not like Flash, but almost as cool. Fantasy is rolling into Pur'es base, he needs no buildable center.

No seige mode necessary.
+ he skipped turrets
what a baller
I know. Fantasy knew Pure wouldn't go DT or any sort of harass and it just killed Pure. Pure barely had time to get HTs out (arbs wouldn't have made it in time, respectable decision by Pure) before Fantasy rolled over him. I think Pure could have stalled for a little more time though I think.

But the problem is, SKT1 is notoriously bad at playing mind games in Ace matches. Either 1) Best practiced for a PvP and WeMade's going to send out a Z or 2) SKT1 thinks they think Best's coming so Wemade's going to send out a Z so they're going to send out hyuk or something.

no they both get a piece of paper and write who will play for their team in the match, then they hand their piece of paper to the referees and go from there.
Shoulda sent Fantasy. Fantasy has arguable a better vT then Bisu in case baby got sent out, and both of them can roll over any vP easy. vZ is questionable for Fantasy, but no Z is really strong enough to take out Fantasy or Bisu

And Heartbreak Ridge is a good map for Mech so Fantasy is pretty much favored in all three MUs.

SK coaches are intelligent.
Fun fact:
Bisu currently is #1 ELO for PvP (2255), and that is also the peak ELO score for PvP. Meaning that if you just judge simply by ELO, Bisu is better than Best right now in PvP, and is also better than Best was in PvP.
1) Konadora, I must admit, speaking Korean is pretty cool though. Seems useful. 2) Fantasy's Bio is pretty bad. you gotta admit. 3) Pure can't find Best's scouting probe.
commentators: T1 coaches knows that bisu would have been the safer decision but he's also aware that best has been known for his pvp in the past, and if best just gets out of his slump T1's future will look even brighter!

Current ELO peak in a matchup is probably a better indicator than overall win percentage.

I've always hated Best. Him and Jangbi are probably 2 of the most overrated Protoss. Yes, I know that is a pretty harsh statement, but really, after the EVER 08 Summer Finals, he has done literally nothing, can't even win an ace match. He is like 1-3 in ace matches this season.
If he were to cancel the nex he would just be contained by that incredibly small choke from the main to the nat. Much tried to break out so many times, but the nat is just too small to break out from a 4 gate contain with straight goon/zealot.

?!?
Best was 20-6 in the first 2 rounds of proleague this season.

You deserve to choke on your tongue for calling Jangbi overrated.
Yes he's slumping pretty hard right now... but yea who doesn't nowadays.

All things considered, during last season, when Protoss had momentum and the maps (Dragons) Jangbi really didn't do much with it. He got to the MSL finals. Okay, and we all see how the MSL finalist is playing right now. Bisu isn't slumping these days either just for comparison sake

This, BeSt seems so freaking shaky lately, and Bisu's been on the ball. I guess it might've been to raise confidence and they have confidence in BeSt's providence.
God prove me wrong please.
we are not oz or ktf
we do not rely on one person to win everything. Have faith

Why Best for ace if there were best PvP right now Bisu and very strong TvP Fantasy? And finally they choosed slumping in all match-ups Best ... who is behind of all this??
just watched the bisu vs roro game. I think KTY is so confident with his PvZ that he just wanted to show what he is actually capable to do in this MU besides his standard shit

I think you should watch the VOD, because I'm pretty sure the story of the game was BeSt played really well but couldn't overcome a bad BO disadvantage.
Still, I agree it's sad to see him losing games these days PL should bring back Colosseum, lol.

Agreeing with JWD. Best played really well, and defended amazingly well with the probes. He even managed to somehow catch up to Pure's army size. But his early economic damage (loss of probes, reduced resource mining, etc) as well as losing his first reaver was too much to overcome, as Pure went 7 gate much faster than Best, and his nat was running much longer than Best's. Pure also had HTs while Best went for Reavers, which is also due to Pure's early economic advantage (faster tech).
Goddamn Canata looks different. I haven't seen him since he was active in proleague a year or two ago. Something must have change about the guy cause he almost looks like a different person.
But good job baby for making an entertaining TvT. I'm beginning to like him more and more.
Its not about BeSt, it's about the SKT1 sending BeSt out. Bisu would've had a better chance, i'm not saying Bisu would've automatically won but his 4-gate defense is solid. BeSt didn't scout after losing his first probe and never even built a pylon >.>.
But honestly, sending out Bisu for ace was the obvious choice, why they had to put their hope in BeSt is beyond me.
so let me get this straight, only the matches won by SKT is recommended? Oh wait, its a SKT1 fan making the op, and we know they never are biased (power rank)

Please explain how the other games come even close in quality to the ones mentioned in the OP.

please explain how bisus match was recommended? it was a onesided rape with the same build stork did just last week (and it was not recommended, and everyone talked shit about the build)

Look, when it comes down to stuff like writing articles, doing recommendations or showing my views on games, I'm probably one of the least biased people out there. I just didn't think that the other 3 games were that exciting or recommendation-worthy. Game 2 was yet another ZvZ, Game 3 wasn't that exciting at all (horrible play on Canata's part). Maybe the ace match was, but it wasn't that exciting IMO (as a Starcraft fan's point of view. As a SKT1 fan's point of view, it was nerve-wrecking.)

please explain how bisus match was recommended? it was a onesided rape with great micro, defense and multi-tasking on Bisu's part with the same build stork did just last week (and it was not recommended, and everyone talked shit about the build)

Konadora, look I really appreciate the things you do to this community, but I just found it funny how when Bisu did the same build stork got flamed to death for, it was suddenly a great game. But nevermind, carry on!
Because the way Bisu executed the build and the way Stork executed the build was of different level. Watch both games. Btw I didn't flame Stork, all I said was 'wow, gay build', which I should have said somewhere about Bisu's game yesterday too.

keep in mind stork did the build against Yellow which instantly gives him 9000 points on the flame score, no matter how good he actually executed it. But the truth is Bisu made it look waaay better than Stork
