UC Berkeley's Asian American Association presents the LAN Before Time 4 Starcraft Tournament.
Free play starts at 7PM, Tournament starts at 8PM
Free entry, with following prizes:
1st: $35 GameStop gift card
2nd: $25 GameStop gift card
Tournament format is BO1 Double elimination changing to BO3 starting either for quarterfinals or RO16 (depending on time). Each person needs to bring their own computer to play. Do not need to be a UC Berkeley student to enter the tournament.

haha xeris, i'm so sorry. I'm not part of the organizing committee anymore, so I didn't know about it until yea...... wednesday night I think lol, and it was through a facebook invite

ya shucks... my 2 best friends go to berkeley and i've been planning on visiting for awhile and would be nice to play some bw while there, but too short notice.. perhaps the next one =D I always seem to miss out on these

I had to beat Zeko in two best of 3's to win. I almost lost vs Zalfor because I lost the first game and he had some very clever strategies that almost worked - Heathen left after he lost to Zeko so I was sad I didn't get to rematch him because I'm positive I could have won :D Next I 4-0'd Zeko in the finals to win. The first game was really good

Can anyone contact some of the event organizers so I can get some replays of games I played + pictures of the LAN + video of the LAN? From the last LAN we didn't get any of the video they recorded. I'm thinking next LAN we should mandate all replays saved + sent to some guy so I will compile a simple highlights video, and I won't forget my camera next time

The finals were actually projected later when some router problems were fixed, but that was the first game. It was just me and Zeko + ACA[zc] in the room playing head to head, it was pretty cool. Nice pictures man, thanks for posting them I will remember to bring my camera/videocamera next time!!!

These were the brackets iirc as I did this off memory. I'm not sure of all the games won/lost and the loser's bracket worked a bit differently than this bracketmacker generated, since I played LastRomantic, not Retsukage. Other of the matches were incorrect too in the loser's bracket, but overall I think that the winner's bracket is all correct and the loser's bracket shows the general movement of things. Heathen left after getting 2:1d by Zeko, and he was the 1st place over me last LAN so I was kinda upset not to get to re him. For anyone interested:
