Uh, in all seriousness though It's because when a player leaves the game, their units are all given to P12(a light blue). Sometimes you can just see the change on some units.

damn... oh well.. i cant really complain... those were some sweet games

Damn watching games 3, 4 and 5 again is just fantastic
And Jaedong has one crazy mom!
Waiting for the commentary to watch the entire series again. Should be fun to hear someone else going through the emotions too

I'm happy that JD won, but the games weren't that entertaining (for me), mostly because of Fantasy's strategies and non-bio play. This series lacked any big epic clashes and late-game amazement.

The change can be seen there because the ling popped out of its egg after JD had left the game, already existing units don't change the color but the new ones do.

The aerial dogfights in the latter half of game 4 were one of the most tense and exciting low-econ finals moments i've witnessed ever.
That was a Boxer/Oov Game 4-type situtation

And is it just me or did JD have the scouting gods in his back pocket in this match? I mean he ran into every proxy... Not really sure why Fantasy was so unprepared for the mutas in the 5set - did be just bank on JD doing a 3-hatch opening? His scouting SCV was alive for quite a long time... This result saddens me. I feel like Fantasy's builds were for the most part ingenious.
In the 5set, perhaps the timing of the build started to fail, when the one vulture was killed by the drone and its two ling friends behind the temple. Perhaps the later drop would not have been at the exact same moment as the first mutalisks finishing.

the vulture stop in game 5 was paramount.

Similarly, a 5 pool can work but I'd rather see at least one lategame battle.

It seems like the best strategy would be to go m&m and then get to the late game (like Flash did in his game against Jaedong) and then switch to mech if permitted.

these strats are for winning, not for entertainment. late game woulda spelt disaster for jd cuz he had such few drones in some of the games. dnt see if he got more later on but thats what it showed. if fantasy defended jds attacks, there wouldve been no late game. i think fantasy just got too predictable and let jd adapt.

awesome series.... I LOVE JAEDONG!!!!!!!!

What's your point? All I said was that these games weren't as entertaining as they could be and lacked any epic lategame clashes. I never called any strategies bad because they weren't entertaining and it is because of Fantasy that none of the games went to lategame because of his builds which was tailored to damage Jaedong early.
