So although it was pretty ridiculous that he build like 30/40 muta vs MnM and Valks, if he switched to Lurks there would have been a huge ass timing window for Fantasy to roll him so it was over either way .Really I only see Lux winning this series if he didn't a) have his patrol scourge glitch out and let that drop coming in game two b) he didn't stupidly move his ENTIRE army back to deal with that drop. He was in good position to delay Fantasy and flank with his huge hydra/lurk army | ||

He had a window right after his opening mutalisks where he could have pumped a little bit of drones and switched to den tech, but he either didn't recognize it or decided against it. He would have been behind had he chosen to do so, but if he could have done a little delaying/light harass with his mutas he could have made that less noticeable. Looked like he just elected to 2 hatch mass muta, which is basically all you can do versus a standard play because he'll have that window to kick you in the nuts, but with the fantasy build he won't really have the units in that window to kill you, so he could have transitioned there. Not sure he could have pulled it out, anyway, though, since he looked really sloppy mechanics wise from what I saw. | ||
