Yes there was 2 zealots and I agree with previous comments that it was not hold position that made bisu lose. The probe got sniped and the error bisu mad was he did not get a backup probe. U need at least 2-3 probes to safetly block with 2 zeals.

This is ridiculous, people coming in from right and left saying jaedong "owned bisu with luck" and "you can't hold position a probe". First and foremost you can hold position a probe if it is grouped with another unit, and since bisu had 2 zealots on that ramp, yes he could, and he probably did for reasons stated earlier in the thread (how bisu's probe count goes from 19 - 18 just when jaedong slips through which indicates that jaedong killed the probe). "Owned bisu with luck" with that shuttle snipe? There was absolutely no luck what so ever involved in that shuttle snipe. He ran in with lings which took cannon fire and attacked with 2 groups (or 3 I don't remember) with different angles which would force that shuttle to have speed to have the slightest chance of escaping.

LOL and not to mention that it's clear that you are one of Jaedong's fanboys...look at your favourite team, and your quote. I agree JD won fair and square but that doesn't make him the superior or better player. The better player isn't necessarily the one that won.

Jaedong timed the attack perfectly. He moved in with zerglings to draw cannonfire and attacked the shuttle with 4 scrourges from different angles. Luck had nothing to do with it.
I dont know about the last game but it seems as if jaedong sacrificed a few lings to be able to kill the probe in the middle and then run by. Bisu was overconfident with his wall of zealots and paid for it the same way jaedong paid for being overconfident with his lingattack in the beginning of game 1.
According to Reach, he is the fastest learner he has ever seen. He start bw only like 2/3 years ago. Infact, his bw history knowledge is so limited, he didn't even know what the map Guillotine was.

Savior has to win a season of GOM first.

I think Bisu actually did hold position his probe. Come on, Bisu won't make such a noob mistake. What Jaedong meant by lucky win is that Bisu didn't have the ideal defense, which would probably be 3 zealots on the ramp. Or if he would use probe, at least put a few of them cause it's so easy to get sniped and leave hole on the defense as can be seen here.

probes can't be put on hold position, you fail

Did you even read the thread? Do that before posting, noob.

Bisu removed his probe after his first zealot got to the ramp. Bad idea, but that's not how you lose at a progaming level. Jaedong knew how to explot Bisu's vulnerable position and won.

No point in starting a who played better discussion because you don't play better than your opponent and then lose. Playing starcraft isn't about fast hands , army postioning and reaver micro, it's about decision-making too. Even if Bisu's micro, macro, blah blah is better than Jaedong's, Jeadong knew how to exploit the poor zealot positioning and broke the ramp. Jaedong has the credit for taking advantage of Bisu's mistake.

And what's with the whole "hold position" bullshit ? Doesn't make any difference if the Bisu didn't hold position his zeals or JD sniped the probe. It's still a mistake programers aren't supose to do. There is of course a luck factor in every game, but you can't rely on it to win games.

If you're a pissed off Bisu fanboy, just hope for a rematch in the OSL finals and better play from him. All I saw in the previous pages were people bashing themselves for so small reasons I don't even know how the quarells started. Think before posting for a change.

LOL

Yeah it's clearly luck when lings run in to distract the cannons while 6 scourge go snipe the Shuttle.

Seriously dude

An interview with Jaedong is mentioned several times within this thread but I can't find a link, I would prefer not to go through 50+ pages to find it. Can someone make a thread about it?

You can see it play out a bit further in this game. Of course that's Best, but we can assume the general idea would have been about the same.

They mean when the female commentator is standing with Jaedong and Bisu directly after the last match. It's in the same VOD as game five.
