Jaedong did indeed kill the probe! The Probe count clearly goes from 19 back down to 18, with the scouting probe NOT yet dead Whoaaa this adds a whole new dimension to it! At least now its not Bisu making a rookie mistake and not knowing the map - but Jaedong actually actively creating holes in his defense
holy hell....you're totally right.

you could say that bisu was playing risky with only 1 probe with his zeals at the ramp and not 2-3.

Jaedong sniping the probe helping to block the ramp won him the game. Amazing.

In the series that many people felt established JD as one of the best muta microers, JD vs Sea in OCL, jaedong lost like a muta for every 3 marines he killed, that game was basically Sea severely messing up his own fact/sv timing and trying to expo when he should've focused on defending (though Jaedong did pick off plenty of scvs too). Lux has always been the one to win on pure mutas, i.e. vs frozean and a few others I think. Jaedong's mutalisks have won him many games, but not on micro alone; alot of those wins were from prior ling control or super quick muta builds -> mutas finish opponents off. JD won many games with pure mutalisk (bluestorm comes in mind), or with pure muta into guards. Also he couldn`t pick up the archons because there were cannons and corsairs, and if u look close he was preoccupied with the corsairs. Also there was no cliff to make things easier, and bisu did micro well those archons The korean commentators all say that JD has great mutalisk micro...I bet they have some knowledge. It's just that he's also good at other things, so yeah. Oh and what about the ZvZ ? I`m not saying he's clearly the best or anything, I`m just saying that he is very good with mutas

I'm pretty sure this was the position he had... the probe just got dragged out by the lings because it wasn't on hold position (grouped with the zealots).

What's up with Jaedong dropping the first game in a set? Rofl~
I'm so happy that Jaedong won, but I'm sad that I missed it. I must catch up by watching through the awesome power of VODs~

I don't think the probe got dragged. If you look at the map, the ramp is fat enough that the probe literally squeezes between the two zealots. 3 lings could've hit it and killed it in a few.
|
Judging from the blood at the ramp, it appears Jaedong killed the probe actually on the ramp before running past.

hahhah jaedong rates bisu's defense a 2/10 that is so funny.
yeah i have no idea what happened with game 5.. so happy that JD won though

except if that were the case the probe would run, not get dragged. in any event the unit counter shows bisu lost a probe when his ramp was broken, this combined with the zerg blood i think makes it pretty obvious jaedong killed the probe and ran past.

Interesting find, at least it wasn't as easy as Jaedong running right by.

Jaedong DID kill the probe, but the point is it was dragged. Jaedong ran up the ramp for vision, then ran back without senselessly engaging, like every good zerg does. He then notices the probe is dragged (as is the case when a hostile unit is near but doesn't land the first hit on a probe). He is shocked and kills the probe on the ramp while losing a zergling, then proceeds to run past the zealots.
I see where the confusion is but in the end, yes, it was an ungodly micro error that lost the game and not some godly zergling micro that won it.
If that was the case, Jaedong wouldn't have given his interview the way he did.
