Look at how unbelievable his late game play his, if he only worked really hard at reading his opponents and doing every scouting trick available (and he has the APM to do it), he would be near unbeatable.
Vs terrans he knows, he's gonna need an early lead and every mineral and drone he can get. He saves on scouting, sunkens, greedy as hell. Terran > Zerg on nearly every map right now. Greedy style is maybe wrong though, i believe he would win more without such savings.
Yea, I think he would win more if he just stopped being so greedy. My belief is that he practices optimized builds so much that he thinks he can't afford to make an extra sunken. While this works in practice, he's got to realize that other Terrans know he has the best late game around so they are often going to try timing attacks. His game vs Hwasin was a good example.

That game was mostly a perfect example on how even Jaedong can mess up micro and therefore lose the game.

What micro mistake are you talking about? JD was not prepared for Marines+Medics, he took 3 o clock thinking he was facing Mech, then Sunny came and made him cancel it. JD was late on Hive and defilers as a result and Sunny's push was really strong. This all could've been prevented if JD sent one ling into Sunny's natural after deflecting the vultures instead of just assuming he was going Mech.
Ah, we misunderstood each other. I should have specified that the game I was talking about was Jaedong vs Hwasin where jaedong lost too many lings in that initial try to kill the mnm which eventually led to him loosing his natural and the game.
On a side note Jaedong ties Jangbi for #4 elo with 2247 points. That’s nice to see as a JD fan. All-kill, Kal is gonna get raped today. At least something optimistic after the group of death.
Jaedong's match against Sunny actually reminded me of his match against forgg. No matter what JD did it seemed as if Sunny had a much higher troop count on the ground. I think what put JD in a position where he was pushed to his limits in a long and epic game was his decision to try and flank Sunny's army during his first push. Why couldn't JD have held the middle to delay the push? Why couldn't he put up a few sunks to delay the push? Were the defilers really that late? I didn't see the game, I had to rely on LRs, and I saw a few seconds of the game (specicially that part) so I honestly don't know. I also have not seen many ZvT on destination but I know it's where Zs go to die so I might be missing something here.

- Words after your all kill ▲ I think this was a great chance I got. Ace was doing good so I expected myself to do 2 kills, but I ended up doing an all-kill
- When did you think you will all kill? ▲ After I did 2 kills I gained confidence. I thought if I did better I might be able to do an all-kill
- Set 5 with Sunny looked extremely difficult for you ▲ I thought I was ahead throughout the game. But when we got to midgame, I was shocked to learn his army was so powerful. I was playing blind too which made it even worse. But, at the last my concentration and luck seemed to won the game
- At set 6 you got Anytime allowing the all kill ▲ First my hands were already excercised and I had the confidence so I believed I was going to win. But, I thought the next map was shin chup pyeong ryeong and it was medusa. I knew the map order but I was so out of place I forgot. It wasn't a problem though and stuck to my build
- You got the first 80 wins in proleague by 1 player ▲ I didn't even know that kind of record existed. I didn't even keep track of it but someone told me today. But when I heard I was the first to do it, I wanted to do more. I gained enough confidence now and will strive for #1 wins in proleague
- You have a Starleague game today ▲ Honestly, I couldn't practice at all and I am very worried. However there was no other choice, there is so little time to practice now. But the map does favor zerg so I think I can do it.
- Last words ▲ THese days our fans are worried alot. I think these days we showed that our team was getting a little shakey. I will recover that image. I will show our team is strong even in Winner's league. Our next game is with CJ and I want to take the #1 spot away from them

Wow, thanks a lot! I was just about to make a post asking for JD's iview.
