Still, Nony did have an opportunity to secure a better position. The recall to Super's main was a bad decision; he should have bolstered his army/economy a bit and then completely break the central contain. Also, recalling into a terran's main usually seems dubious to me. Chances are that there will be mines and tanks nearby or just coming out factories which can easily thwart such an attack. Upgrades, get them! Nony dealt with harassment pretty poorly, especially at bottom right. It looks like he still has trouble with unit management and determining the correct time/place to attack. After breaking out of the initial push/contain by Super, Nony could have opted for a longer game. He had a loose control of the map and could have given himself more time for his economy to catch up. Don't mean it to sound like a put down, just what I saw/thought. Always easier to critique from the sidelines. | ||

Since Terran always expand there first when he does the mid game push toward P main, there was no way Nony didn't know about it. Yes, he might have had a 'chance' to attack it while Super was busy defending recall/other expos... but Nony couldn't have done much more than he did with his army. If he would have tried to attack that high ground expo (which I don't think would have succeeded), Supers other expansions would have went up, I believe Nony just wanted to keep him on 3 bases against his 4. | ||
