We all want them to win, but we know that they won't. Even though they are getting paired against total noobs, probably as an attempt to try to help them advance to boost ratings, they're going to slip up.
Boxer has to play at least remotely standard to stand a chance long term, and Tossgirl is extremely sloppy with MnM micro lately.

Watching less than perfect matches is pretty fun. I think one of the biggest draws of watching Starcraft 2 will be seeing the pros trying to figure out the game.

That might be asking to much. She would have to win 2 series. You gotta remember there is two rounds of 64. After the first round of 64 the 32 seeded players join in for another round of 64. I doubt Tossgirl could beat one of the seeded players.

Wow. It's amazing how completely wrong they both analyzed the game. Rainbow was way behind right from the start. Terran was always ahead in supply. Tasteless kept mentioning terran's horrible economy, when the protoss himself had just about 10 probes mining. It wasn't a comeback, Azang was way ahead the whole game. Do you expect a Protoss with 50 supply beat a Terran with 70 supply? that was after he lost about 20 SCVs. Surprising completely wrong analysis from a professional commentator... He could even see the unit counting station himself.

I hate to say it, but this is what I was saying last time Boxer played. Everyone was saying how godly his strat was, but it was just him beating some noob. I was hoping he would play standard today, but what can you do. Like Tasteless said you have to applaud him for trying out new strategies and having fun. Maybe if more programmers had that mentality, matches would be more fun to watch.

I guess he's in an awkward position...
If playing standard, he doesn't have the required macro/mechanics to play well enough.
And if playing weirdo strats, his fans will love him for that because that's what he's known for, but since this is not the year 2000 anymore, he'll lose against any somewhat decent player. But it's probably better for him to lose like that than lose while playing standard. In any case, loss is inevitable.

At least boxer was entertaining as a player, i mean, he takes the game to another level rather than simply playing standard. Most of the old pro's seem to give much more fun games than macro fests =D
