Stork found someone who is even less clutch than him. While Stork chokes in the finals, Sea chokes anywhere but proleague. Also, for some reason, when Sea got his scv into Stork's base and saw the support bay, he didn't immediately send his marines and tanks bank. I can't figure out why he would do that. And as you saw, the reaver caught the marines and tank coming up his own ramp so it made a huge difference. I call that a choke.

I don't understand why he started building an academy after seeing the support bay? Maybe a good terran player could explian that to me. Idk why Sea chokes at the ro16 it is very annoying. I mean honestly, if Frozean could make a ro8 Sea should be able to right?

It was a bad build if it was scouted. Congratulations on that conclusion. If it's not a buildorder win it's luck. Loool for how many years can you make excuses like this? Sea saw Stork didn't have the second pylon in his base and still managed to have nothing but 1-2 vultures in his base when the reaver came. I like Sea, but it's hard to join in the fan club when there are so many clueless know-it-alls who always seems to come up with new excuses to why Sea dissapoint again and again when it's so obvious he's just playing vs a superior player. God I don't want to hate Sea. Why do you force me to get upset at him for stupid shit Sea-fans say? T___________T Facts: Stork has always showed better results than Sea. Stork has always been the better player. Both are synonomous with consistensy, but in opposite ways. Stork always wins vs Sea with or without luck. Sea always gets raped by Stork.

Sorry for doublepost, but all your posts in this thread gives me a headache. First, mechanics are pretty much irrelevant today. I guarantee you all starleaguers and pretty much all A-team players in all the pro-teams have close to perfect mechanics (in korea of course). Starcraft today is more about percentages and reading your opponent. I've read interviews with progamers where they explain their strategies like "this build has ~60%/ vs that build" etc. Pro-gamers already assume everyone knows how to micro and macro today. All foreigners who go to Korea says the biggest difference is that they rarely make macro or micro mistakes. Saying a pro-gamer's strong point is his mechanics should be an insult. So while I do agree with your statement "Sea and Flash mechanics are well on par with Stork and Much", it says absolutely nothing about the players chances to show good results. Sure, Sea can sit and wait and hope that Stork will play a "straight up game" vs him for all eternity, but why would Stork do that when he is the superior player (not mechanics wise, but game sense and reading opponents-wise). Lastly, the map in Starcraft will always have hidden spots which increases the importance of mind games (or luck as many of you call it). There's just nothing you can do about that. You should never play poker btw.

Remember, the one who sucks is the one who gets "cheesed" not the one who's cheesing. That's one of the key elements of SC still being variable and competitive - your odds when cheesing are fine(not too bad, and not too good either). Duh. Noobs. Edit: I somehow left out the "if scouted" part, but whatever. You should get the message. That's not really the whole story here. Stork went through a long period where that was all he did, proxy something into carrier. It's a strong style, but he's done it so much that Sea instinctively scouted around the map. That's what's bad about this. A proxy build like that is strong if your opponent isn't expected it, and incredibly weak if they are. He was one matrix away from losing that game, and it's a huge disappointment given the strength of his play lately

First of all, Sea didn't see that Stork didn't have a second pylon in his base. Stork had a zealot on his ramp. Second, not even I am saying this is an unexpected result. Sea always loses to Stork, always. I'm unhappy with HOW it happened THIS time.

Err... it's easy to bash stork for never winning titles, but he's one of the most consistent players in the pro scene. I mean he's a perennial powerhouse, he just never gets it done at the end. My guess is there aren't many players who have a winning record vs stork. The dude is like the Jim Kelly of Starcraft.

I searched Jaedong (sure Flash would have a winning record too) and he is 5-3 against Stork. I know you said not many players have a winning record and I posted to say that Jaedong vs Stork on Persona is in the TLPD twice, is that a mistake or what?
