Up failed his initial break attempt, ran into a bunch of lurker traps and was still ahead nevertheless. Never did I think Savior was winning. Just watch his games from when he was on top, he used to play a much stronger/aggressive midgame with upgrades and lurkers and lings and good scourge use and then went to hive when he had at least four bases and a minimum of map control. That's what Jaedong does most of the time too (except vs ForGG) from the few random games I've watched lately, and I find it so much more effective. Savior could have done more with his first few lurker / muta ling instead of just letting himself be contained but the hive timing was perfectly fine. It may be a standard timing these days but I don't support it at all personally. A Terran who makes no mistakes will just get so much of an advantage during midgame that defilers will be too late anyway. | ||
