They usually get a bye or get to play the weakest player first. (any second name on that list is just a highlight)

I'd look for the group listing to post them, but I'm on a computer that isn't mine and doesn't have Korean installed. I'm not very good at reading a bunch of identical boxes.
Though I am looking forward to see some more ZERG advancing from these preliminaries than the OGN ones. (unfortunately, I don't think that will be the case tonight or tomorrow)

Edit: Question: Best obviously has a seed into the OSL but he also seems to have a seed in MSL survivor. He's obviously a favorite to get out, but last time I checked my understanding is that SKT1 players were only allowed to participate in 1 individual league. Has that policy changed?

Normally there are only 24 people advancing from offlines. There are now 2 extra groups.

The op is kind of wrong, because all of those players aren't qualified for MSL. 1-8 is in MSL and 9-32 are in the MST.

The difference between sKyHigh and han are the people they've played to breeze through the qualifications. + Show Spoiler +Especially Leta (even though he's been struggling a bit lately, just like Best, we all know who finished 2nd in the last OSL, with quite a hard path to walk there, right? And we know that Leta schooled him in the PL sem-finals).

Actually, Kizoo_Major isn't that bad either. If I remember correctly, he finished close second in the OSL offlines in quite a strong group, beating 2 higher noted players before bowing out...it's scary how rookies can rise so fast and eliminate top players nowadays, should they catch them in a bad period / with surprise tactics / just play their games of life that day

This is even worse than the OSL prelims. Only 3 established pros(meaning minimum quarterfinals in an individual league) advanced thus far; Stork, BackHo and Iris. And tons of the players advancing are known as Darkelfesque players.

The reason I hate rock isn't because I believe he is and always has been a pretty good p (even at the pro level).
The thing about vs magma is he got his third expo up and running with a larger army/better grades + large amount of static defence while killing magmas fourth and about 7 drones at his third and forced him to make 8 sunkens at that third .. meaning zerg was bankrupt with a shitload of gas .... his response? typical rock ... all zealot Vs all lurker ... upon seeing lurker? ALL zealot/archon against All lurker ... that is my point. To watch a pro gamer establish such a huge huge lead and throw it away just sickens me to watch. I love comebacks but I hate flops.... feel me?

I am happy that Hyuk made it through both prelims, as well as leta and really making it through, tough break for rA though.

Yes! Haran made it. He is a promising player. I hope one of the KTF zergs finally breaks through, too bad 815 didn't make it out of either prelim. He hasn't been doing well lately.
Congrats to Hyuk going 6-0 in his group. His upset over Casy doesn't look so bad anymore.

Hm, my hopes for this MSL:
Terran : I really want to see UpMagiC get far, and I hope that Memory can elevate his game to Starleague-level and make a strong showing.
Zerg : sAviOr is going to win this ezpz, but if he happens to come up with gonorrhea or something from unprotected sex with his hordes of fangirls and can't play then I hope that either Shark or Hades step up to the plate.
Protoss : Fuck Protoss, they can die. I wouldn't mind Tempest going far, especially since he beat July and in my eyes needs to live up to what he's set up for himself in doing so. Seriously though, if all of the Protoss players get eliminated a round in I wouldn't mind.

Also, the racial distribution for this survivor is the best in a long time.
19 T, 17 Z, 12 P. Plus the zerg lineup is looking much better than in the OSC. This upcoming OSL should be nothing less of a zerg victory.

yes, good racial distribution, i think that the maps this season are very good balanced.

Cheering for Bisu, FBH, Nada to win it all. Incidentally, they all have vZ as their strongest matchup :D If not them, then Stork or Sea.
