Hype
I know that a big fraction of posters on TL has some kind of real lives outside sc. I know that many TLers are a bit shy for playing with what they think are better players. I know that some think that there are, God Forbid, more important things in life than sc. But from now on, you can say goodbye to all that!
So common guys: stop seeing friends, quit sleeping, ditch your gf, quit you job, drop out from school, ingore your exams!
Because Now is the Age of Clan Art Casual Sundays!

First Casual Sunday will start 3 hours prior to TLattack, and to satisfy the commentators craving, this weeks theme is cheese. Come and fine-tune your new leet cheese that you are going to unleash on NonY!

Registration
Not strictly neccesary actually. HOWEVER, it'd help me alot if you let me know that you are planning to play. I realise that people cannot promise 100% to turn up, and therefore hesitate to sign up, so let's use the system where you post your estimated probability of turning up. Are you almost sure that you're going to play? Put 80%. Are you planning to get drunk on saturday, and expect to be hungover/sleeping during the tourney, but still want to play? put 25%. You get the point. People signing up without percentage will be defaulted to 70%.
name/percentage
"Registration" is open until the minute the tourney starts. Participants will be decided by who are in the channel at the set time, so make sure to get there on time.

Since this is a Clan Art tourney, I want you to register for Clan Art to play, if you havent already.
Format
Depends on how many turn up. I am thinking some sort of "quadruple elimination" where you play 1on1 and drop down the brackets as you loose. From winners bracket to loosers bracket, to n00bs bracket to complete bbqn3wb-bracket, etc. You get the point.

In the winners bracket I intend to use normal 1on1 on cheese-friendly maps. I need help to pick out good maps for this, as I'm a n00b myself, but I've understood that Blue Storm and Troy are good for cheese?
Ill follow fusions (thanks) suggestion and go with
troy
blue storm
RoV
Blitz X
Peaks of Baekdu
The following is just an idea, let me know if it sounds good or bad:
As you go lower in the brackets, the format will turn less serious to give space for creativity and cheese. I've not really made up my mind on exactly what, but I'm thinking in terms of blood bath, 3-way ffa or maybe make a VERY cheese friendly map? It'll be a suprise I guess.

Where to meet
Us West, op clanart. From there on you can go and play the games on hamachi, or on bnet with or without chaos. Hamachi or chaos is reccomended, so make sure to get one of those, or both, installed by sunday!
Last words
All these are preliminary plans and Im ready to change things if you find them stupid/boring/we. I want, no NEED, feedback on the map-pool to make this as fun as possible!
omg, I spam smilies...
Well, see you there.

Lets abuse that TLattack is having a break and have it an hour later this time. This weeks theme is teamwork and cooperation. Last weeks tourney had flaws, but actions will be taken to make everyone know what's going on, and keep everyone playing as much as possible.
Format
Teams of 2 persons. Come with an ally, or find a random teammate when you come. if possible I recomend you to come a bit early and try to hook up with someone before we start officially. On the creation of a team, the two players should play each other in BO1, to decide who is the first player, and who is second. During that game the team is also required to come up with a good (funny) name for themselves. Failure to do so results in me making up a n00b-sounding name for you. The players are after that obliged to create smurf accounts with their new teamnames tag, for clarity and amusement.
After that, teams are free to play each other as they want. No brackets, no scheduals, no nothing. Just pick another team and play them. Two teams playing each other is a B05.
Game 1: first player vs first player
Game 2: second player vs second player
Game 3: 2on2
Game 4: Team melee
Game 5: Ace
Game 1 and 2 are obviously played simultaneously. Ace game works like this: each team send in one fo their players, OR both their players.
Both teams send in 1 player: 1on1
Both teams send in 2 players: 2on2
one teams sends in 1 player, the other sends in 2: the 2 team melee vs the single other guy.
Winning versus another team gives you points according to my own very strange ladder system. The number of points you get is the number of points the other team has +1. So if you play a team in the first match, you will always recieve 0+1 = 1 point, since the other team will have 0 points. If you win vs a team with 6 points, you will win 7 points by beating them. The amount of points teams get will get very high very fast, but that's only fun.

The 2 teams with most points after lets say 3 hours, then plays the final. Final is B07:
1: player 1 vs player 1
2: player 2 vs player 2
3: 2on2
4: team melee
5: 2on2
6: team melee
7: Ace
I'm eagerly awaiting suggestions for the map pool.

"registration" is open as long as the tourney lasts, as this is a drop-in tourney.
Since this is a Clan Art tourney, I want you to register for Clan Art to play, if you havent already.
Where to meet and play
Bnet, op clanart at us-west. To avoid the confusinion from last time with people being everywhere and not being able to play each other:
All games will be played on battlenet with the Chaos Latency Changer.
Chaos latancy changer can be found here. Make sure to have it installed before the tourney. Also feel free to drop a line in the thread about how awesome the latchanger is.

Last Words and feedback *zooming feedback sound*
As normal, I would liek feedback. Map pool as normal. Is the time ok? This time we got some freedom in moving it a little bit in each direction, so requests will not be turned down by default. Is 3 hours good? too much, too little? Any other opinions on the format? Maybe we should take top 4 teams and play semifinals?
Thanks to evanthebouncy for reminding me that "Casual" could (should?) mean drop-in.

Thanks to randombum for the team melee idea.
Thanks to walrus for being a good slave last time and keeping some order where I failed.

I hope these new concepts work out well.

As TSL is going on, this sunday we will just meet in OP clanart on US West and play some games. If 8 or more persons turn up, and we feel like having a tourney, we can divide two brackets that can play double eliminiation and then have semis and finals.
As before, everyone are encouraged to come with chaoslauncher.
If you plan to come, feel free to register by replying and stating your estimated probability that you will turn up. This will encourage more to join, so it is for your own best.

I will be there on time with 75%, but I may be late due to IRL issues. Shouldnt be a big problem with this format though.
