iccup @ A level, win = 130 points on motw, lose = -140 points

PGT @ A level, win = 140 motw, 150 mots, lose = -110?

Does it have the same *feeling* as PGT? PGT always seemed like a *happy place* when people described it to me. I dont find iccup the same way.

Yea I kind of know what you mean. I only got in on PGT towards the end but it seemed like a friendlier place for some reason.

the only reason pgt would seem any friendlier is because of the nostalgia clouding your mind.
edit: and a lot of people that would describe iccup right now would probably be bitter because it's fucking harder than ever ;p

haha yeah, and I think part of the reason is that (i think) there are a lot more non english speaking players, so you cant really talk to the people your gaming with. This makes everyone feel distant.

So that it feels like you're actually playing with people? so far on ICCUP it feels like i'm just playing vs good computers.

i dont see how bad is it to chat a little with other players, i always try to chat or have some fun... Its better to spit bad words at each other after the game is over. And yes this season is really nice skill level

I agree, it's nice to talk on ICCUP. I meet friends on ICCUP and that extends to Bnet, so I meet plenty of people. Someone asks me "u from?," I answer, and we chat a bit, it makes the game more fun and even if you lose then you don't feel so bad

ive heard dozens of people say this kind of thing but when I say from USA nobody has ever done that. I guess it must happen though if it happens to so many people
