Nada won shinhan masters in 2007, won 2. shinhan in 2006, was runner up in 3. shinhan 2006-2007. That does not really translate into "easily" beaten, unless by "nowadays" you mean today.
But still, the question should rather be, why would you expect players to be perfect and keep up with every new player, map and strategy for the rest of his life? Those are some expectations.
