There's very few babies in this mature community, and there's no reason for us to accept him acting like that when we have a community-run platform. This ban isn't even a punishment, it's a warning. When you're coming back you're gonna be on thin ice, and itll take a single insult to trigger a month, another one gets you a year So yeah, its up to you man.. time to grow the fuck up

I don't get how people are wasting their days being grumpy in a 25+ year old game, in an alternative community made launcher. I find salt in literal bronze and silver league SB matches like what are you doing this is supposed to be for fun

You don't get it. Talking shit is part of the experience. for some more than others, in some cases more than others. Grudgematches. Housemates playing each other in BW like you would split-screen Golden Eye or Mario Kart. We may be older but many of us were raised on the mean streets of Battle.net chat rooms like x17. Hell, even general chat could get heated. It was all part of the game. Young, boisterous egos talking shit at each other. Ah, to be young in the 00s again...

I got a warning for leaving a game early when I was just checking out the latency... I understand but I was still surprised to get the warning  . Won't happen again!!!! My bad.

just curious how are these warnings issued out? Can you report players in SB? I had someone play random i think it was, but he instantly left within 10 seconds. is there a ToS?

i do think rules like that are important, it may seem harsh, but it ensures when you queue up for a game on SB you get quality matches and not a bunch of insta leaves or smurfs like in bnet launcher.

I'm really enjoying the very low latency experience for practicing my completely terrible Terran :D Well done the SB team, it's such a nice platform to use. I'm aiming for lowest-ranked player by the end of the tournament, hoping there's a special prize waiting for me down there.
