I’m gonna tip the upset and go Rush. With the exception of Colorless Fate, the maps either slightly or decisively lean Terran which I think will matter over 7 games.

I normally support Zerg, but I'm rooting for Rush here. If he loses, people will cry "Zerg OP" again, and Soulkey already has four ASL championships. This is Rush's second final—he's earned it.

Rush’s single best strategy is early game aggressions: 8rax, 8rax-9rax, 4 marine sneak attack, etc. These have a fair chance of starting the game in his favor, if executed well. If the game drags onto mid to late phase without SK losing a limb, Rush’s chance diminishes to zero.

I would love a terran champ and Rush more than deserves his title, but i am afraid Soulkey might prevail with little difficulties if he manages to bring his A game. Zerg is so strong these days…

is SK the best ZvT player in the world? Yes.
Is Rush the best TvZ player out there? Probably not.
Can Rush take home the finals? Maybe, Terran is the stronger race in this matchup.

In the last few days Rush has played some really good TvZ, going from Soma to Effort and back again.
He was practicing so many god damn builds.

I expect Soulkey to win but Rush has every capability to put together a winning match strategy.

While I agree with others that Soulkey is the best overall zerg in the world, he has lost some of his aura and appears a little more beatable then before.

If we get a 6 or 7 game match that goes down to the wire, I'll consider us all winners.

I think light is just better in TvZ. I really don't see Rush getting more than a map or 2. Shouldn't be close.

I really hope Rush is on form. When he is dialled in, I've been very impressed, and I would expect a great fight, but he doesn't have SK's consistency.

Smart money goes to a Soulkey victory especially after that battle of wills vs Soma.
For Rush he can count on TvZ favoring Terran and there is a possibility that SK has become overconfident after the semifinal win.

Anyway, I want 4-3 win with twists and turns and back-and-forth games

edit - after reading Rush is trying out so many builds in his vZ marathons vs top zergs, he might just crack the code
