On the one hand, I am in favor of rotating participants in the semi-finals/finals and winners.
Mini was in the final 3 times and became the winner 1 time.
Sharp was in the final only once. Back in season 1, where he lost to Shuttle. Therefore, logically, I should root for him.
But on the other hand, I (and not only I think) do not want the 3rd TvsT Final ASL in a row. And this could be. Rush can beat SoulKey, and Sharp can beat Action/Effort.

May the best man win.

Mini already won ASL so I don't really care much if he advances or not. At this point I just want another TvT finals just for the banter hehe

mini is the most recent protoss ASL champ, following rain beating snow in the finals (instead of flash). if mini advances, there is potential for an effort rematch and a rush finals rematch, OR two banger pvzs in a row. mini simply has to win for the story lines. also in ro8 and beyond sharp talks tough in interviews about his mentality, positive thinking, coaching etc. but besides his scrappy tvt where his flanking and mech micro is amazing, he seems to lack the mentality of a champion in the other mus

lol i love how they showed a clip from sharp vs last. in the interview sharp was talking about yoga and being healthy and last was like "i can't touch my toes, but i'll let my game play do the talking" then crushed him. that was a great series.
