I was watching Calm's broadcast and apparently he helped SoulKey come up with the build order for every set. Soulkey had BO win on the first 3 games, and on the fourth match Soulkey said he felt confident and detracted from Calm's build order, and yall know what happened in that game.

Also, Calm was pissed at the fact that Zero had so much luck with the spawn and scouting.

I feel like you aren't giving enough credit to Mini. He just had a great gameplan build-orders wise to beat Queen.

You are right however that Queen's overall level feels higher than Minis, even at ZvP. I think MIni is just a player who really really benefits from prep. I actually think Mini would have beaten Larva had Larva not gotten to see Mini's builds against Queen. The surprise factor matters a lot.

Will be interesting to see what he can do again (assuming he beats Sorry which is not a given).

I'll also say that you could NOT make a better bracket for Mini.

I’m gutted for SK. He has improved so much and I thought he would pull it out. It was a tough match up for him.

On a positive note, I’m rooting for Mini and I agree he would probably prefer Queen over SK. SK is very aggressive and unpredictable whereas Queen, while dangerous, plays more standard and Mini has found ways to exploit that.

Mini is a favorite against any zerg in Bo5 currently. But the big test will be his PvT in games against Sorry. I give 60% to Sorry on those.

Close matches but I feel like the games SK won were a bit of a fluke and he won mostly due to building more lings which zero didn't scout or expect. Macro and micro wise, Zero was definitely a level above SK.

I wouldn't say a favourite in PvZ but it's at least a 50 % against top zergs which is quite a bit higher than any other competing protoss atm. But yeah, it will be hard for him to advance vs Sorry...

Mini looks like Bisu must have looked like to people first seeing him go Corsair dt. Mini has god like zealot micro and gets away with both delaying cannons and hardly building any cannons. He’s a straight beast in PvZ but still not much better than 50% because hydra busts (and to a lesser extent lings floods) are always a threat to Toss
