Tonight we have a fairly interesting group. Two of the most feared terrans around, paired with a relatively unproven zerg, and the minor league perennial Soo.
Midas vs Kwanro[saM]
Given that this is on Monty Hall and that Kwanro really doesn't seem to have the salt to walk through Midas, I'm giving a large lead to Midas on the favourites poll here. Kwanro is gonna need something nuts to pull out a win.
Nada vs SoO[S.SiR]
Also on Monty Hall. Soo has been here and done this, but always with very limited success. He faces another tough challenge in Nada, but we've all learned the hard way (usually with our liquibet points) that Nada always has the potential to disappoint. That isn't to say he's not expected to blow Soo out of the water, but we'll see what happens.
That leaves us the last three matches, and here are my predictions for them:
Winner's match: Nada vs Midas
We're gonna see something cool here if these two meet on Python, which is a very entertaining map for TvT. Maybe you don't like TvT and if thats the case, well, go to hell! I think Nada can smash a win here over Midas, who seems to be really hit or miss against Terran.
Loser's match: Kwanro vs Soo, the pair of fuckin' losers
its Python and Kwanro shows more promise than Soo does, so he'll win. This match really doesn't matter becaaaaaaaaause:
Final match: Kwanro vs Midas or "Even Shudder Wins TvZ On Desperado"
Great map, great matchup, great terran. Kwanro is in for another spanking at the hands of the most awkward terran player EVER.
I predict Nada and Midas will advance, as I'm sure a lot of you have. I'll update the results here!

but i dont trust that both will qualify tbh-
they're both slumping (angered the bw gods?) and these guys are unknown- hence the potential to upset.
Midas will beat nada if they meet, i think he's in slightly better form atm

it's completely not the same thing
all-in strats by what is perceived as the superior player (the one that would have the advantage in a longer game) are more risky than playing safe and relying on slowly building up an advantage
tennis is a game where upsets are extremely difficult to pull off, while in BW upsets happen all the time
also, the whole "all-in build" thing exists in BW where in every other sport it basically doesn't
it really comes down to who does the cheese, if soo beat nada with proxy 9 gate everyone would be screaming omg cheese, but when nada does it back it's all of a sudden a great play?

Midas is in trouble lost alot marines to speedlings and now mutas are out..

kwanro was lucky early game with some lings and killed a lot of fast expanding midas' scvs. his muta harrass is quite sucessful too.

Kwanro kills off alot of marines and turrets with ling/muta... does not look very good for midas.

however the few protosses and zergs that qualify practice so much against terran and usually play only agaisnst terran match ups, so at the end non-terrans become champions due to this reason
