Not a fan of this scheduling format, 4 Bo5s in a row is a lot for viewers/casters and players looked far less prepared during the winners/losers matches. | ||

Rapid is ok ish and Tasteless is good as casters overall, meaning they could cast golf and maybe make it less boring, but they know shit about bw, But many people watch KSL and also play ranked bw and also watch progamer stream and know about build order, meta, current trendigs, etc. So the casting of KSL ASL, should be aware of what 5:30 muta is, or what is 9734 or 11 nexus vs zerg, or why faint moving out with 4 marine vs z are a thing. Artosis is the only caster who knows those things, i'm not bashing on NoRegret/Rapid/Tasteless, I think I'm pointing out a fact, they don't know enough about the game. That's why they tend to do good when they team with Artosis, He is the only one who succesfully combines casting habilities and brood war brain, when he is not around a good idea could be making casting teams of 3 people, like koreans do: two joke tellers like today and one guest who actually plays and watch starcraft, like Cadenzie or EonZerg I dont know... | ||

Yeah, I'm glad to see Mini performing well after... whatever that was in ASL. Mind is looking rusty--it seems like his macro was really off?--but I think he has a decent chance in the rematch. | ||

Rapid was just annoyingly making pointless memes and references, while noregret unfortunately doesn't have the game knowledge. They don't say anything constructive about the games, completely misunderstanding basic builds and pushes that anyone who plays the matchup knows. Coming from the early Moletrap and Klazart days of casting, I have a patience for watching casters learn as they go. However I don't see either of them putting in the effort to improve at BW casting at all. I can hardly blame them, it's not a big growth industry right now, but it's really coming across in the casts, especially when compared with Tastosis as the alternative. Both may be able to be carried by half of Tastosis, but together this was a complete trainwreck. | ||

Even if you don't understand it, it's much nicer than muting all sounds together imo. I believe it is simply too difficult to find an English caster in Korea to have all the desired qualities. And to use casters outside Korea will just bring too many technical difficulties to make it worthwhile. | ||

I think the two of them cast really well together, but maybe it's because I seemingly get the humour they're going for which a lot of people seem to miss. They entertained me for the ridiculously long cast, maybe I'm just easy to please but I had a lot of fun watching. One thing I'd like to point out as a caster is that joking around is a good way to fill time and keep people entertained. There's only so many times you can say the same things over and over again and when every series is a Bo5 and you have to do 20 of them in a day then there's only so many jokes that will hit their mark. | ||
