What are the odds to play in the tournament? i see you said early sign ups are closed

it would be a multiple hour drive for me to go. Dont wanna show up and be out of luck. Any thoughts?

Chances are very low I would say. When I was there this Saturday, there was about 50 people there, meaning that the ~12 computers we DIDN'T reserve are likely to be filled by general customers on the day of. There is also already a backlog of entrants who get priority if someone who reserved doesn't show up in time on the day of.

You are still more than welcome to come and watch/play games on the side as availability allows, but as far as entering the main tournament, I wouldn't bet on it.

We will almost certainly be hosting another one in about 3-4 months or so - stay tuned for that and don't miss the next sign-up!

UDP. Unfortunately I didn't get to test UDP, but that is the preferred and logical way of doing things. If it for whatever reason does not work, then Battle.net.

I am not booking a hotel/airbnb and I'm probably taking a bus to central park (30 mins from flushings according to google maps) to and from Reading PA. The bus doesn't run late at night so I'd have to catch it at 10am the next morning for my way home. Anyone feel like prowling the streets with me and pulling an all nighter?

Anything's possible for me. But chances are you'll have to go back to Manhattan or to Brooklyn as Flushing won't have much for late night activities. After 1230am or so, the subways run every 20 minutes, so it might be a long ride after dinner (i.e. perfect time to split a bottle).

Actually, there seem to be a number of places open late in Flushing. My bad! Mostly more Korean restaurants, but could be something else there as well.

Finally just bought my bus tickets. I'll end up at park avenue south between 26th and 27th at 9;25am. It is the only bus that runs near me. So I'll have a lot of time to kill. If anyone is commuting early, we can prob do stuff. Hmu I'm not a weirdo.

Also I might need an extra large seat at the lan if they supply those. Got a major fat ass.

If you've never been to the city, you can go sight-seeing? You can walk to the Empire State Building, and then walk to Times Square, and get on the 7 train from there to Flushing.

Also I recommend street halal for lunch.
