So, we will have Effort vs Last semi. Should be good!

The rest of this tournament is going to be crazy I’d be extremely shocked to see anything but a last vs flash finals that goes the distance 7 games 4:3 to either player. Last looks absolutely premieir form right now he’s shutting down lots of top talent very convincingly.

Last will be rooting for Effort.
I hope Shuttle can somehow get through Action. Mini might take a game from Flash but hard to win a bo5. Shuttle v Flash would be interesting. Last v Effort/Rain will be fun but you can bet Last would much rather face Effort.

ASL is Bo5 only

I’d still say last and flash are heavy favorites to make the finals. Action and effort are the other two next most likely to upset their way into one of the spots. I think a flash vs last finals card still is a 3-2 the way it’s been going.

What makes you think that last would prefer a series vs effort? I’d say the opposite, he would prefer to face rain, because rain has looked weak as of late and effort has looked strong, although Tvz might be lasts more favorite matchup compared to tvp. I haven’t watched him quite enough to know, but he looks comfortable in all games he plays to me. He just barely lost his 2fac game vs mini in his group but easily manhandled the rest of his opponents.

Rain's PvT is monstrous while Last's TvP is arguably his weakest match up.

Last just isn’t as good at TvP as his other matchups. Not to say he’s bad at it but I think he’d prefer a TvZ vs Effort over playing Rain. But I think it’s unlikely Rain gets past effort.

Not too unexpected result's. Last has a sharp TvT :-D :-D
Someone wrote about who Last would want to face next round. From past history I think that he would defenitly want a TvZ. His recent trashing of Soulkey and JD (T_T) comes to mind... and why some ppl underestemating Rain?? saying he's got poor form? His PvT is scary, and Last's weakest mu is TvP.
Still Rain vs effort.. it's hard to call. I hope it goes all the way to game 5 with effort taking it ;-) We need a Zerg in the ro4 and possibly in the final! (I don't see Action going the distance)
effort vs Flash final would be epic. The guy that shut Flash out of winning a forth OSL back in the Korean Air 2010 OSL. Going from 0-2 to 3-2 :-D

Sharp was looking so good! His macro let him down IMO. There were times he was 40 supply behind but with a big bank D= If his macro was better I think the series would have been a lot closer.

There were also computer crashing issues in that finals which for me invalidated the legitimacy of it in somewhat, especially since they happened in game 1 where flash was up, swinging the momentum to efforts side in an unforeseen way. Could be the flash fanboy in me talking but in a way it’s logically true flash should have 4 osl golds in his career, so should a rematch with effort come about I think he will have his guns firing to win it.

From memory, the arbiter one is about using a trick to get more units to all stack up in one place temporarily, which then means they'll all be recalled when you target that location for Recall. I'm not sure the FBH mutalisk one has been properly explained in English, the vid is only in Korean.

I think the AfreecaTV rep was on here a while back saying they had a fix in the works but doesn’t look like it has come to fruition.

This was a cool series. It's true that after game 1, it felt like Sharp lost some of his vigor which is why Last dominated game 2 and 3. He probably expected to take game 1 and honestly, he was really really close to winning too. Tactically, he was superior, and this showed in game 2 as well as he managed to keep crawling despite being down in supply, expansion count etc.. Unfortunately for him, he left Last to play his own style of TvT which was the expand and macro up as much as possible in order to slowly choke out the opponent with superior macro.
Had he done a better job of shutting that down, then there's a chance that Last would've lost his biggest edge and in a tactical battle, Sharp would've come out on top. That's not to say that Last is that inferior tactically because as we saw in game 3, he can pull off great movements, and knows how to exploit the map well (the tanks leap frogging near the bridge, targeting with tanks other tanks, sieging high ground outside fourth of Sharp etc..). It's just that Last seems to be a step ahead in macro and unless you can shut that down, you will lose as you enter the late game.
Still, this was a really impressive series for both players. For Sharp, it should've showed him what he had to work on and hopefully he becomes an even better TvTer next time! BTW, did anyone notice Sharp holding back the tears? Poor guy. Hopefully, he wins something soon so that he can feel the joy of a championship!
