Holy hell I can’t even remember how many years it’s been since I’ve last uttered these words :D I actually had to reset my TL.net password as I couldn’t remember what I’ve used back then ![]() Thank God there’s apparently no expiration dates on TL.net user accounts ![]()

Only watched the first two games of JD vs Snow as of now, but game 2 really felt like Jaedong back in the day. You just feel that zerg units controlled by the tyrant are simply more powerful than those of mortals. Incredible feat to make the game look almost even from time to time despite the blindcountering/star sense of snow.

I agree with that statement and I am also expecting Rain to win their next series, but to be honest if it wasnt for the really bad decision making on game 1 and 2, he probably wouldve won 3-0 against Snow. He was top notch mechanically and won every standard macro game (I don't consider game 2 to be standard because he tried that muta balls which we don't see in ZvP). So if he plays standard, macro oriented and reactive plays against Rain, he could perhaps pull it off.

It wasn't really bad decision making.JD has been doing so many reverse sweeps in this KSL (and was always known for his BO5s). I think he has had at least 3 during the KSL, even had one in the qualifiers. It's almost like he uses the first game or two to "feel out" his opponent. Sometimes, he starts with a couple of aggressive all-in games. Other times, he starts with standard and then switches back to aggressive. I suppose vs Snow, going aggressive isn't a great idea because we all know Snow's pvz is bad so forcing him to mid and late game makes the most sense. So, yes, maybe not a great decision vs Snow but he seems to just be sticking to the formula of sticking out the first 2 games and then totally shifting his tactics if he lost the first two.

So, yes, maybe not a great decision vs Snow but he seems to just be sticking to the formula of sticking out the first 2 games and then totally shifting his tactics if he lost the first two. It was bad decision making. In game 1 he decided to engage into a reaver and canons which he knew was there with a small army of hydras, this is just too big of a risk. He already started droning again and added a hatch after his 3h hydra was scouted, this engagement came out of nowhere and cost him the game. In game 2, he decided to make a bunch of mutas after he shouldve know that it was double stargate. (I say he shouldve known because he saw 2 corsairs with his initial scourge) double stargate literally hard counter mutas, this was so confusing as to why he decided to do that. Then, for the next 3 games he just played standard and reactive plays, and he won easily.
