He's gonna wreck everyone with hydras Edit: Also, i think JD has a decent chance, Soulkey is ZvZ where JD has more experience and confidence and two Ps not named BIsu. Only group C would have been hard with Bisu/Mind/Shuttle imo

Stork is an easy touch for him last ASL and JvZ. Why do people think the group is such a bad one for him?

Precisely, Jaedong destroyed Stork last time they played and then it's JvZ + ZvP which is much better than ZvT for him.

Not sure which is the real group of death. I'm taking a hard look at Group B and it looks pretty fierce. Effort, Larva, Hero all have legit chances of being champ. And lol Shine is just being forgotten despite being a Finalist last season -- although I can sympathize with that opinion...

I don't understand why Rain wanted to be put in group D. Group A was fine, I mean Baxter? Sharp? Clearly not the toughest opponents. He prefers playing against soulkey and jaedong ?! Also Larva is a dead nerd.

Pretty good overall, would recommend for you to watch it. On September 21 2017 05:26 RouaF wrote: Thanks Seeker for translating, that was really good. Also Stork in pvp? No idea what's on his mind.

While you have a point about avoiding terran i would still have prefered a group with one of the "weaker" terrans and shuttle or something. JD didn't really look like a monster in any matchup in spon matches and Rain, Soulkey and even Stork are imo harder to prepare for. But that's mainly a feeling tbh so i could be totally wrong. I probably would have even prefered JD to be in group B My thoughts exactly. If there is anything where JD can deiver whether he is in bad shape or not it is ZvZ. Besides he has already been in pure Z groups before and topped them, so. This D group doesn't look good also because I'd like all the players to advance.

Everybody should keep in mind that Jaedong has always been a very mechanical player unfortunately age eats away this quality first. He himself said that he no longer feels that his fingers are as fast, in addition he has wrist problems as well which he does not speak of often (correct me). Watching his streams I noticed that in late game he sometimes missclicks units or starts spaming too much to compensate for misscliks. This is a sad thing to witness. Nevertheless, his games stay being nail-biting to the end whatever form he is and that is why he is my favourite player of all times and I hope he tops this group!
