1) 100 % of users who want to play on in this tournament have access to ICCup. This tournament doesn't attract beginner level/ casual level amateur, the "worst" players in this are around my level, C-/C Rank at iccup or better. While most of the better and top foreigners play on 1.18 too (on FISH server), many mid level players still don't. i don't have any exact number, but many of the people i know on this level still play ICCup exclusivly. 2) Current patch is having a lot of issues Current Thread with complaints. I didn't read the whole thread, but apparently there's massive problems with CPU usage this time. 3) ICCup offers support to all Tours run at the server. We can do serverwide announcements for events, offer Chat moderation when needed and cooperate to a certain extent when it comes to smurf-checking. This tour needs no smurf checking tho, that's more important when you intend to restrict the access to a certain group of players and have a hard time figuring out who-is.who. So, as i said for me personally it doesn't matter that much, but i don't see the benefits of using 1.18 atm. Scham mentioned his issues with hosting and casting games on 1.16. I think that's a matter of experience. Once you're router ports are forwarded and you have no color glitches ingame, there's basically nothing troublesome from my experience in streaming with 1.16. | ||

I have not had any luck finding an admin for this week. If I am unable to find one today, I will need to cancel this week's tour (as I will not be available to do it myself). I will update the thread later tonight to let everyone know whats going on. | ||
