Han Dong Wook,
ok I guess Casy is the player who is underdog here most. Gosugamers, or the community proofs that by betting 78% on sAviOr. Really - for me this is a huge upset.
All should know Casy is a great player, especially vs Zerg. He holds a 3-1 OGN record vs the God of War (JulyZerg).

He got a tough opponent in the semi finals, but he already proofed he can beat sAviOr (2-3 bo5 vs sAviOr). He should not be underestimated.

As far as I know, casy has not played a bo5 against savior. This last bit should be in iris' profile right?

I'm not going to take credit off July here, but he isn't the same player as he was before, and Savior is a monster. I'm not saying Savior's safe pick, but I'm saying, it will most likely not be an upset.

The wins I mentioned vs July were not in the current and not in the past OSL season. He still was God of War there .

so umm, have you considered the validity of this line? =S

Casy hasnt been in msl.
Savior has only been in one osl.

Casy and savior were on opposite sides of bo16 bracket, obviously they didnt meet in finals or 3rd place match.

There's no way a casy vs savior bo5 could have happened until now. They havent met in superfight either. There's a reason with Casy fanboy #1, SJM, is clamoring about this mathcup.

edit: oop, looks like you got to it

I can't help but wonder how anyone can still believe in terrans vs savior. I mean okay, if they start doing things like one base rushes / proxy etc then who knows, but this season's Terran fashion statement seems to have kinda stopped working right?

Casy doesn't quite play like the others though.
I mean... he does, but he also has his own little quirks.

ok here we go. hopefully i cover all time zones
Korea time I got from google.

Current time USEAST: 7:10pm
Current time Korea: 8:10am
Current time USWEST = TL.net = 4:10pm

Pressure's thread - Start time of Shinhan Masters
Time:15:00 Korea Time, 22:00(Friday) TL Time.

now I think this time was made before daylight savings kicked in. As you can see, the time difference right now between korea and TL.net, is 8-4 = 4 hours (also pm/am diff, but w/e).
Pressure's entry says 10am tl time, and 3pm korea time, which is 5 hours difference.

Now, I am sure the 15:00 korea time is the correct one here, makes no sense that the TL.net time would be correct and the korea time will be wrong, when the time source is from a korean website.

Ok, so we have time difference as
Korea - USEAST = 1 hour
Korea - USWEST/TL.net = 4 hours

so starting with 15:00 korea time, we get
USEAST = 1500 - 1 = 14:00, whcih is 2pm -> swtich am and pm -> 2am EST
USWEST = 1500 - 4 = 11:00, which is 11am -> switch am and pm -> 11pm PST

Ok, so now let's look at time difference between USEAST and CET
ok so this website: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/time-zone/europe/central-european-time/
tells me that CET tiem right now is 12:10am.
12:10am(CET) - 7:10pm(EST) = 5 hour time difference.

CET is 5 hours ahead, so 2am + 5 hours = 7am CET

Thank you thedeadhaji. I may not have embarrassed myself on the boards not understanding all this (namely I did not know TL.net time = PST), but I sure did with a PM to Mani a few days ago concerned I would miss a game or two with wrong time zone; especially the daylight savings time that you unravelled for us. 1 AM CST it is! Yay.

Agree with a lot of you guys, the Casy v sAviOr fight is going to be interesting for all reasons already mentioned above.

Looking forward to an awsome evening (night) with Sc2.org

Looks fine to me haji.

It's both a good and bad thing that this is starting earlier than SC events usually do. I won't have to stay up until 5am, but I won't be able to go out boozing beforehand.

Nice banner, Xeo.

Haji: Yeah, the times are right, and I just checked OGN's schedule to confirm it's airing at 15:00 Korean time.

Pretty exciting. It's either (z v t / t v z) or t v t. IMO the terrans will have the advantage, and it is very likely that one of them will win. I believe it may really come down to Iris or Nada because all three terrans have awesome T v Z, but Iris and Nada stand out the most.
