Honestly can't make up my mind who to root for here... But my brain is telling me free will move up. From what I've seen in this tournament so far, is that free is far more consistent than Movie. Movie is great when he's great, but he seems to spend an equal amount of time being great and mediocre, even within the same game somehow. Besides, only PvP from Movie so far this tournament has been against Jaehoon (if I remember correctly), so it's not much to go on (no offense to Jaehoon or his fans). Maybe he will surprise us.
I personally think this is Free's series to lose. Movie is not in-form but despite that he was able to take down sSak in multiple games. Will it be enough to surprise? Maybe but a taking a whole series vs a PvP monster? That sounds too unlikely.

lol, bissudagger overpraising bisu again. The big question is if bisu will be able to advance through mind, i find hero less scary. PvP finals, i dont think so and somehow i have a feeling that movie will advance. However im hoping for mind vs free finals, since free is possibly the best opponent for mind right now.

Long match on HBR. It drags out with Movie having the advantage the whole way and clutches it when Free tries to establish his fifth base. Series tied 1-1.

3rd game on La Mancha. Free spawns at 11 and Movie spawns at 7. The match is won rock-paper-scissors style as Free goes for DT into expansion while Movie overwhelms him with dragoons and an observer.
Fourth game on Neo Jade. Movie spawns at 11 and Free spawns at 7. This time around Free goes 3 gate + robo while Movie techs to DT. Free takes an economical advantage instead of attacking, which Movie might have expected after seeing the obs. Movie finally gets his natural up.
Movie gathers his forces and tries to hit Free's natural with ~6 speedlots, ~14 goons, and a shuttle with 2 reavers. However, the shuttle and reavers get sniped at Free's natural choke, doing minimal damage to Free and losing troops during the retreat.
Free waits for another round of production and retaliates with his own force, tying up the series 2-2.
Final map on Circuit Breaker. Free spawns at 7 and Movie spawns at 11. Movie goes 3 gate + obs while Free goes for 1 gate into quick robo with obs + reaver. Free builds his natural and Movie attacks, threatening to end the game. However, Free defends with his handful of units + reaver and Movie is forced to retreat and take his own natural.
after free's storm drop kills movie's probes, movie goes for one last hanbang with two reavers but doesnt manage to break through past free's front nat and ggs.
Free attacks and loses his shuttle + 2 reavers, but was far enough ahead that he didn't lose too much. He gets his 3rd mineral only and has a successful storm drop. This forces Movie to do an all-in attack since he lost a lot of economy and doesn't have his 3rd building. Free anticipates the attack and narrowly fends off Movie's attack with his defensive storms. Movie taps out and Free wins the series 3-2!

i think movie could have equalise or at least make it more difficult for free had he just simply kill of the 3rd and the probes there and back off instead of committing fully to allin.
oh well free definitely deserve to go through with his superior control, gonna have his hands full against ZvP king hero
Either Mind vs Hero or Bisu vs Hero would be a great Finals.
Nothing against Free, just don't find PvPs or even TvPs to be as fun.
And Hero seems to have improved so much (8-0 in this SSL so far), would be interesting to see what he can do against either of the 'invincibles' in a Bo5, i.e. Mind or Bisu.

They are both great players and after watching the games, i can say no less. Amazing series, Movie was well prepared, he shaped up very fast during the tournament, showing great games at tiebreakers and movie looked like more solid player to me and couldve won if he wasnt soo impatient.
Amazing series! Aside from the Mind vs Killer series (even it had its great games), these quarterfinals have been nothing short of impressive. Game 2 with all the positioning, storms etc... the amazing control of free and decisions. Movie with his macro and coming with a solid gameplan in the games etc... I think either player could've taken this because both players had their dominating game (1 for free and 3 for movie) and close ones as well.
