Third finally warping in for Pure, gets smacked up by 9 Vultures. SAN DROPSHIP drops six siege tanks behind the natural WALL this time at the bottom of the stage. Arbiter throws the first stasis on three of them and Pure's dragoons move in from the third. Mines doing more work than they should.

All three dropships are dead. Tank count is still rather low and HiyA hasn't expanded. But Pure is in shambles outside of his superior tech. Expansion goes down at 2 o clock.

Pure going out through the back to block all the incoming forces. DT included. Good stasis doing serious work. But oh god here's the reinforcements. Vults and tanks filing in to the natural in the most natural way.

The two rines invade! Initial lings kill them, but not before they take a drone down. Hyuk probably still slightly ahead economically. First lings arrive to challenge the factory wall-in! Delayed machine shop for sure!

PianO was unlucky that Hyuk had a coupke of sets of lings pop as his two marine raid got into the main. It could have done a bit of damage otherwise.

Wraith is out. Hyuk takes out some vultures with speedlings. No speed for vults yet.

Shloober is right. One wraith is out from the first starport! Zerglings doin some serious work against the first vults! Vults go out and do some scouting. Wraith angrily chases the lings out and goes on an ovie hunt. First hydras pop and finish off the vults before they enter Hyuk's nat.

Piano drops some bio at Hyuk's main. It kills some drones until hydras spray them to death.

Map completely bare of units! 1 Dropship drops bio on the north side of Hyuk's main. Bad news for all those drones! 4 die outright along with their sparse hydra guards until mass hydra sweeps in and cleans it up. Mass hydra vs 2 vessel SK Terran!

Smart dmatrix on the first rine gives the stimmed marines a major advantage. A second one is sent in! Mass hydra eliminates all the marines! Medics retreat, scourge kills one vessel! Vessel count 2. Lurkers are out! DROPSHIP GETS SNIPED, drops two rines at 4 o clock after coming to terms with its mortality.

Pure's zealot + storm attack fails at 9 as hydras and an egg block defend the ramp. Robo going up at the sight of the egg.

Lots of mutas lost there. Pure manages to reinforce before hydras can take down the sim city at his nat.

Game heats up at Pure's ramp, at which storms silence Hyuk's offensive. Both players trading soft blows and holding out.

Lots of action near Hyuk's 6 expo. Mutas get stormed and finished by goon fire. More units from both players reinforcing.
That's quite a blow to Hyuk. He loses 6.

Fight moves to 6 o'clock. All mutas dead! Expo shut down! Both players on three bases! CProtoss force slowly getting cleaned up. New Dragoons come to press the attack. Hyuk has just a tiny bit less than he needs to deal with this. What's that overlord stack doing way out there in bottom right?

The protoss unit stream is too strong, he waited far too long and let Pure play with 3 base.

It was pretty free, he scouted it early but stayed back to macro/deal with corsairs. (which he didn't really do too well)

Pure's control wasn't the best there as he simultaneously defended with zeal DT and countered with goons. Looked dangerous for Hiya there but Hiya defends nicely.

Pure tried to bust with 2 shuttle play and goons but it ends in failure. IMO Pure could have walked into the main.
Hiya moves out with mech, still no upgrades tho.
Huge battle. Pure catches Hiya unsieged and wrecks the mech army. He only stopped due to SCV pull.

Pure stops the push on his third and denies vulture harass very well.

Pushing off two factories after all that? Hmm. Could go either way. The push just kind of dicks around in mid-field. Advances on the third, SUPERIOR MINEPLAY! Defeats all the goons. All that remains are three vultures and a bunker. Vults try to sneak across the bridge but Pure effortlessly blocked the bridges pre-emptively. Mines to counter that action are ineffective.

That SCV is so near.
DTs are out. 1 snipes the ebay building scv. Mines laid down. Hiya takes out the pylon. Almost daebak on scvs there.
Pure retaking his nat in the chaos. One DT still in the main, out of detection range.

HiyA wasn't completely dead there. Disappointing GG. He had very few SCV's and probablly would have lost. But I've seen players come back from worse.

First Killer doesn't show up to his matches and Hiya GG's prematurely in the deciding match. Maybe these pros don't care about the small time tournaments anymore.

HiyA is actually building up a history of pulling the plug on himself, especially vs Pure.
It's just his personality coming out. I don't know about Killer though.

I didn't know this. But I know hidden in-base gate DT is hard to deal with, guess Hiya was really frustrated.

From those that I watched fully, I can only really recommend the last match b/w Hiya and Pure. I felt that Hyuk vs Piano at CB and Pure vs Hiya at Destination final bo3 match lack the punch but that is my take.
Oh and 41TV uploads the games on his YT. The links are in the Small VOD Thread 2.0, just wait a bit
