Dunno if its front page material though as a low ranks tournament. Lots of major events going on now that deserve it more ![]()

![]() Organizing a tournament consumes a huge amount of time and effort. There's always an audience and interest for the foreign/amateur scene, especially with TL folks playing. Just added Arcania to the front page under Ongoing Tournaments. It'll automatically appear in the list of ![]() ![]()

+ Show Spoiler + Group A: ![]() ![]() Judging by Xeno's previous rank, I think he'll 2-0 the group easily. Radley is the Terratoss though, I think he can handle xkcd's 400 APM and his arch-nemesis mca64. Group B: ![]() ![]() My bold prediction is that Wraith will be one of the finalist for this tournament, loved his style during Maroon Starleague and excited to watch him play again. Napoleon seems to be the next best player in the group in terms of mechanics, so I'll have him advancing too. Group C: ![]() ![]() This group is rather hard to judge. All the players seem to be C/C+ or above, with Splax being B-, though he claims inactivity so that might even the entire playing field. I always put my faith in castle to make it out of group stages, but I'll cheer on my fellow Terran player, though it's incredibly hard to say who's coming out 2-1 from the group. Group D: ![]() ![]() Supposedly the group of death... Again, incredibly hard to predict who's advancing. I wanna say White can regain form, but I think flyingjelly staying active (?) will help him out through the group. ArtOfBlack is a technically sound Terran, and I think as long as he can handle a potentially sloppy White, he can advance from the group too. I dunno what a Sero is. Group E: ![]() ![]() Fold is fold, and DarkNetHunter is DarkNetHunter. Fold will definitely be advancing, but I wouldn't be surprised if LTY gives DNH a hard time, especially if DNH hasn't been active like before Crimson 3. Group F: ![]() ![]() The reason I'm not saying Talent will advance is because he lost to Sero's Zerg. Group G: ![]() ![]() Seems to be a rather obvious skill discrepancy, to the dismay of the Terrans. I think if Gohan was active, he'd have a solid shot at advancing, but assuming he isn't, I'd have to say the Protoss have this group won. Group H: ![]() ![]() Artanis will advance via walkovers, and Ty2 will advance because he showed up late, and no one else bothered to show up. Another prediction is that we will have 13 total walkovers this entire tournament, either due to not showing up for game time or late replay submission.

You both picked Beggar not to advance too. On second thought you don't have any insider info and are just bad at predictions.

Now, as the agents of the sinister Overmind spread chaos and destruction across the face of Aiur, the stalwart Protoss defenders prepare themselves for the coming onslaught.

+ Show Spoiler + Group A: ![]() ![]() B- protoss in a group with two terrans and D+ zerg... radley should be able to take second place. Group B: ![]() ![]() Wraith will take first in a one-sided fashion. Napoleon should be able to secure second rather easily, as well. Group C: ??? I will skip predicting my group, but I just wonder: WHY does EVERYBODY pick puppykiller to advance? He is a terran in a 3-protoss group and is listed as C max-rank, which is lower than 2 of his opponents. What exactly am I missing? Group D: ![]() ![]() That's basically impossible to predict. Any of those players in his best shape would be a strong contender for the title. However, recent activity suggests that only flyingjelly will be close to his peak, so I guess he would somehow go through. If I'd just roll the dice and say that Sero will win the group, but who knows. Group E: ![]() ![]() Fold is far ahead of everybody in terms of skill and will dominate the group. DNH has (had?) really solid mechanics and should be able to edge out the competition for second place. Group F: ![]() ![]() This should be a rather straightforward group with beggar and ngenuity advancing. Group G: ![]() ![]() Both terrans are not and never were anywhere close to the two protoss in terms of skill. Group H: ![]() ![]() Yet again another group with two players with max-rank far above the remaining two players. No surprises can be expected here. Half the groups seem to lack any possibility for an upset. At least two more will only have any contest for second place... In conclusion: players in group D should feel shafted for where they ended up xD edit: any T or P that wants to practice vP feel free to PM me on TL, preferably with skype acc.
