the 1-8 position in last season COSL are already assured of their place in the ro32 and do not have to play. The BO3 elimination round will have 24 groups of 2 players each, ie. the 19 players from the previous COSL+ the 5korean seeds who have advanced will be pitted against the remaining 24 players respectively. however since guemchi has been eliminated, its not yet confirmed who will take the korean seed slot... winners of the each BO3 group will advance to the round of 32. the map for this BO3 elimination round will all be STL_Soul_of_Fighter_1.3 the draw to determine the BO3 round will apparently be broadcast live on 9th Dec, 2000CST. the BO3 elimination round will begin between 11th Dec-21th Dec. Within this period 6-8 days will be allocated for live streaming of matches, with 3-4 BO3 matches streamed per day. All participants must strictly adhere to the competition schedule given. More details regarding this will be confirmed right after the draw today. | ||

Also, they have this rule where if you are a Korean semi pro, you have to off race in alternating games, which is why you see Koreans dropping games randomly. | ||
