Here's straight up openings: Fast expo into ground units 2 gate 1 gate into expansion or at least not all-in play. Non straight up: Cannon rush Fast expo into reaver sair Dragoon/reaver Dragoon rush ETC See, if you go 1 gate sair dt to expo, it's about as straight up as you can get. jeez stop being so pedantic! I don't think you can apply "straight-up" to any of ra's plays, and FE is pretty standard in the pro scene right now. i don't think you can simply categorise stuff like that I haven't seen goon rush in a while =] It was just examples of what's straight up and what's not, the way nal_ra played in this game is about as straight up as you can get.
Seriously.

I don't know how it works, but it doesn't look like there's a winners bracket and a loser's bracket in this MSL anymore. For example Chojja lost 2 games but is still in the tournament. It would seem that if Ra wins his "group" and Boxer wins his, Ra will play the second in Boxer's "group", which is most likely Oov. But again, I'm not sure how this format works so I may be wrong.
There are two new groups now, with same system as before. Here is a nice post by jkillashark that explains most of it.

This season Ra and Boxer really showes why they are the most feared bo1-players out there.
It would be such a dream final if the two could come through all the way!
Boxer vs Ra for both OGN and MBC. That would be the shit
Oh and btw, am I the only one feeling that changing the format of the MSL from the straight up winner/loser bracket to a more group play oriented tournament with two bo5 semifinals and a bo5 final is the best thing that ever happend to the MSL?

omg I thought it was going to be another hopeless rape by a Z on a P on the Eye when Chojja started on the lurker contain + obs killing shenanigans but omgomg the storm + goon micro... and the ruthless, flawless and relentless counter that followed to wipe out everything on the map... Protoss at its finest? I think so..

Julyzerg bunker rush - anyone see it? July microed drones and killed 3 incoming marines in an already built bunker X_X. Nonetheless it is nice to see boxer rape again. The finals will be real rape
