Sky Cola gogogogo!!!... This is so refreshing. There are so many terrans (compared to foreign/chinese scenes) in this tournament that I can actually cheer for a protoss and a zerg for once.

Not necessarily, when terran is about to mine out while P has three almost fresh bases, I've seen way too many games when protoss lost it's main and then won anyway to call that game over. But I get the feeling that Sky isn't all that comfortable playing catch up, he just wants to proxy : )
welp only way to be sure is to look over the VOD, but judging from the flow of the game in my perspective, there was almost no chance of Sky making that comeback lol

Yeah, but it wasn't a good trade for Cola, no matter which way you slice it. Koala isn't even going to try and defend his base vs mutas, now that his push is repelled again... doesn't look too bright for him. WTF Cola losing so much mutas.
im pretty sure sonic himself crashed because for a little bit I didn't see sogoodtt show up on the afreeca search and the channels now are like 14/600 instead of being ~470/600 each.
still, it says there are 2 of the sogoodtt channels full though

I know that it was 10k+ during the peak of sky vs cola .. but I couldnt accurately guage the last game because of the afreeca-wide crash. And now that I'm in a relay room instead of the main room, I don't have access to all the stats bleh .. lol

pre-afreeca hiccup I think there were ~2 full channels (600 each) and 6 channels that were probably about 460/600 each (varied from 400/600 to 500/600) that I could see. *edit* right now there are 10 channels listed for sogoodtt so I assume precrash those channels were all close to full, otherwise I don't think afreeca makes the relaying channels.

your figure doesn't include the mobile streams viewer count lol. There was about 5k+ PC viewers, 5k+ mobile viewers
I'm just rambling here. But does anyone feel that Sonic should get some sort of commercial deals during the break? Like a company can pay 500 dollars to advertise their product in the stream. I think that this will further suck in more viewers because of the professionalism. I kinda want to see if SSL can turn out to be the next OGN.

Sonic used to plug in his sponsors during breaks, or at the beginning of games back in the Ro32 online portion. Not so much right now, because they're still really emphasizing the live camera aspect.

But however I do believe that Ultra switch was the bane to the Zerg. Ultralisks are good at sealing the win but not so vs mechs. Also should have send the hydralisk to attack the top left corner base instead of the natural because Tanks got in just in time to defend whereas it would take couple more seconds to arrive at that base.
well the problem was letting Terran expand so much to begin with .. but it if it weren't for that mistake we wouldnt have gotten that super epic game. I think that was pretty much an unwinnable scenario for Cola, and he did an amazing job given his circumstance

I can't seem to decide whether or not Cola vs Ample Game 2 or Pusan vs Icarus Game 3 was the best game of the Ro16 lol ...
Game 3: I think Ample was a little behind after his failed bunker rush, but that wasn't too bad since cola made a lot of lings that didn't do anything thanks to sim city. The mutas did so much damage, so Cola played so cautiously against everything, Ample really never had a chance.

according to the main thread: So right now there's no more SSL until next saturday. From now on there's only SSL on saturdays. Every saturday are only played 2 matches. Finals are the 17 of November, including the 3rd and 4th placement matches.
