I'm actually surprised this series was so close considering most of iFU's best players weren't even fielded for the clan war. I like Octzerg and spx, but they still need time to un-rustifiy themselves.

spx is one of the better players out there... And OctZerg is as active as any.

Psh! I wish! OctZerg and spx are getting better fast, but truthfully, the more active players are more dangerous right now, so it's unfortunate that they didn't play in this Clan War, because it would've been a lot more fun to watch.

Edit: Not that I disliked spx or OctZerg performances... I think it was good to let them practice and get some Clan War experience.

They've both played 10+ years, mostly in division 1, I think they have plenty of Clan War experience.
SC is like sex. You should play often, but never too hard. And you should only try hard when it matters.

i think she was just saying eonzerg was probably a better choice over octzerg since he has played more recently, octzerg can play better he just looked really rusty in the game.
I don't need luck, luck is for noobs, good luck to you though

Nah, iccup has only been around since 2007. However, considering spx's stint in the Russian military and OctZerg being inactive for so long, it's natural to need practice to get back into the swing of things. Oct has been losing games to C-/C gamers on iccup, so it's clear he needs a bit more practice, but I think he definitely deserved a shot at playing in the CW.

first of all . i think this is useless deal .We have too look the great series that end. I must remember everyone 1 month ago the goal was to get players for cw. But right now i believe we can also win cws. so its good for us and good for the gambit cup . and about octzerg and spx. they both are Grand Master players.im sure they try his best and with more practice they will do really well in cws

Nah, iccup has only been around since 2007. [..]

I forgot, before iCCup there were no clanleagues and division 1 was just unheared off.. unless of course you consider clanleagues such as the WGTCL, BWCL, BWML and probably alot more which even I don't know. Ever noticed that BWCL is in its 42nd season already?

spx was a really good Terran for as long as I remember him, but he had to leave for army duty and just came back recently, afaik.

To put it to rest, spx is a B rank Terran only. His play is almost identical to Tarson's. He can't TvZ to save his life though, unlike Tarson. He simply throws vultures around, because they're a good unit.

Tarson was verry solid macro player. I saw last time recent replay of tarson game... and i understand its hard for spx and others to keep former high level skill without playin much games...

stevewch rank means nothing (at least it cant be comapred rank from past to now), Tarson was one of the best terran outside korea , even with his verry poor play ns Nony. He played amazing games vs Draco at Polish WCG 2008 and was really good terran
