Otherwise, 2nd place has advantage over 3rd/4rth winner and then 1rst place has advantage over whoever goes to final. As well as the fact it would produce the most high quality games. Even if it is just 3 sets, a fantasy vs flash or bisu flash rematch could happen or something, and those players still have shown some elite bw play. true, the elite in brood war can still show amazing games, but they will never be able to show games as when they focused 100% on brood war on the top of their careers.

And in 2007 in the "about" section there are qt cosplayers. Last year it was aug 19-21, which was right during the (delayed from china) proleague grand finals on aug 19 so no bw would have been at it. Don't remember 2010

Just like how last season they played a match at WCG busan (though they had issues of too many people attending matches last season english article: http://www.fomos.kr/board/board.php?mode=read&keyno=121552&db=issue&cate=&page=1&field=&kwrd=) also critically important is that VIP tickets to the OSL final are being given out after this match afaik.

I suspect all those people are going there to see SC exclusively. It's a big event so there are many people interesting in different games. It's only that the main stage is airing SC at the moment.
