Shine put fear into the heart of a god, even if he went down he still gets respect. BW forever! where are the vods? I cant find things hiding in plain sight =[ Youtube: ESportsTV Usually uploaded within an hour of the actual game played. Usually. Though sometimes they run into some hiccups and only upload a few of the vods before uploading the rest of them almost a day later, which is annoying. I think this happened to some of the Jangbi games. Other than that, they are usually on top of uploading vods in a timely manner, especially SPL vods and most of the OSL vods.
wait you mean they didn't upload games of GO? I was looking forward to watching those

Just finished watching the games, I feel so sad for Shine. He played well imo. Big respect for him.
Now I just hope we can have an EPIC Flash vs Fantasy and Flash going against Jangbi in finals for his 4th OSL. Let this happen please.

Flash is Flash, it doesn't mean that Shine played bad for that. I still think he played well. He surprised me in an entertaining way.

Fucking hell. This is so ridiculous. Why..........

Lessons to be learned: Disable stickykeys before playing BW!

I'ts funny how in the last stage of the last BW OSL we'll most likely get to see every single mu played.
PvP, ZvZ, TvZ,first round, PvZ and TvT second round, TvP last round, hopefully!

I would love a TvP final because i hate Zero. Fantasy vs Soo is pretty much walkover

Shine did very well considering that Flash usually 3-0's B class players.
That being said, I selflessly want to join the flurry of comments on the potential regames, particularly Flash's (lack of a regame) with Jaedong as well as game 2 of this series.
STOP COMPLAININ
Sure, Kespa is heavy handed sometimes, but the most important fact to consider is when the malfunction occurred.
When Shine's mouse broke, he still had lots of mutas and a lot of minerals and gas in his base and nat. By the time he called PP, the mutas had died due to the malfunction, making him appear to be in a hopelessly lost position. So he was sort of in a recoverable position when the mouse broke.
In the JD vs Flash game, the malfunction happened at the same time the game was stopped. Flash had almost no minerals or gas in his remaining bases, since he had gone 2 base all-in. What he had was going to be his final attack, and that marine force had no chance of escape. Jaedong's Zerg macro was going in full swing with a massive production of ultras, defilers, and lings. And we all know that moving to Hive tech is really the moment any TvZ changes for the complete detriment of Terran, even if the terran was on even bases and had sci vessels.

The Flash vs Jaedong game has nothing to do with this, so I'll only adress your first point. The reason why it annoys me so much is that the way you argue contradicts the way the ruling was achieved. For one moment let's admit that the game before the malufunction wasn't completely won by Flash (I disagree with this though). Problem happens, pp. What is Kespa's first ruling ? That Shine is the one responsible of the malfunction and that therefore he receives a warning and that the game should be resumed. So when it appears that that is not possible, it's pretty clear for me that to be coherent, the game should be judged not from before the malfunction, but from the pp moment, that is after Shine suicided 5 mutas into turrets and was going probably going to lose more before he could retreat. I'd love anyone to argue that Shine had a chance after that...

Although incredibly one-sided, this was a very entertaining match to watch, and featured plays that I have found lacking in BW for a while now. There used to be ingenuity within the BW scene, and it's refreshing to see Shine still doing some of that.

This is why Flash is the greatest of all time.

Well, I was disappointed that shine decided to go kwanro and tried to cheese the life out of flash, so I don't think he did pretty well, but I'm glad Flash's long TvZ streak(that began with a win against shine iirc) was ended with a pretty awesome cheese, not some boring rush with a streak of luck. Games 1 and 3 are awesome.

I guess this will be Shine's crowning achievement; to deal Flash's last loss in a BW starleague.

KeSPA started an emergency referee committee meeting on the 27th, and discussed matters regarding the pause and judgement (re-judgement) in the game between Flash and Shine on the 26th in the Tving OSL, and has admitted that the referee responsible (Woo ?) had made mistakes in his judgement.
Referee Woo had decided at the time that "the match could be continued after bring out (loading) the save", but then immediately after because the save file didn't respond and encountered technical problems, he thought that continuing the match would be too difficult, so he announced a re-game.
Kespa elevated the issue and had a committee discuss the event, Referee Woo said "When Shine requested a pause it was possible to give Flash the win, but since the match was already announced to continue, giving Flash the win at that point seemed unreasonable."
But the referee committee thinks, that since a save file problem was confirmed, the game could not be continued, so it should have been judged as a disconnect, so the game would have been paused again, and at this point giving a player the win was more opportune. The referee has also personally apologized on his social medias, saying "There is responsibility with making a judgement call, it's because (I) of following the decision that changes to the rules (ruling) can't be made."
After that, the Kespa committee admitted that the referee made a wrong judgement, and there existed problems of not exposing / making public the details of the event, not making a thorough judgement call, and other problems. As such, the committee fined Referee Woo 500,000 won, and removed him from the referee roster of this OSL.
The committee has also apologized to Team KT Rolster / Samsung Khan, Flash, and main coaches Lee and January.

do referee have set and well defined rules and regulations to follow? cus if not, it sounds completly injust to fine this referee for his error. sounds like hes being used as the fall guy for kespa.

Yeah, I get that the dude made a mistake, but now I feel bad for him. Admitting the mistake and an apology would've been enough(for me) since Flash won the game anyway.

I don't see Flash beating Fantasy if Fantasy advances to RO4, Fantasy is on fire lately.
