I'll be on all day so it doesn't really matter that much. Although the correct notation is EDT since we're in daylight savings during the summer. EST is winter.

@pebble: 4adun still hasn't replied to me about rescheduling, at this point the only time that will work for me is Sunday evening EDT or during the following week in the evenings. Please let him know if you see him because I will be afk for the weekend.

My BW will not run in window mode, so I may have to just settle and get a fullscreen cast. I tried using Camtasia to make VODs but that was also a bust! Wish me luck and give me any recommendations you have.

If everybody still in the tournament agrees, i suggest to re-schedule everything, and have it semifinals next week-end, and finals the week-end after, saturday, same time as usual. It was a bad idea to have 3 rounds in 1 weeks time. This allows Arca and Ewya to play their match regulary, and 4adun to play his match vs jealous. let me all know what you think about this.

No. i need the approval of half or more of the players. It would be not good for the tournament if in the semifinals there would be a walk-over. If it where the RO8 then it wouldn' t be too much of a deal, but semis it would really suck.

Okay, so... Since this will be decided by a vote, I'd like to start the discussion. I need all players to post here ONE time only showing their point of view, don't reply to what anyone else is saying, simply show your perspective. Once this is done, we can have a confidential vote (so that no one is pressured to do anything) and see where the cards may fall. I suggest 75% minimum required vote for a change (more that 50%).
So, here is what I have to say about it... Honestly, it does prove better for me if the league format does not change, however, this has a minimal influence on the following.
This may be a rough read because I don't have the time to review it.
As a fellow league organizer, I can see how you would want to do such a thing simply to make the league as successful as possible. I have been in a situation similar to this in the Gambit's Cup where decisions had to be made and in the end, while it may have proved beneficial to the league to make last minute changes, it could not happen for the sole reason that both teams have even say and there is no reason for one team to go out of its way entirely to help another one out. Now, PP matches are already a part of the rules and I think, that honestly, if 1 week is not flexible enough for 1 match... I don't know what is. I know Gambit Cup they were fighting from a position where they had a whole lot less freedom than that, yet I still didn't sway. In the end, you have to ask yourself is this a league or a learning exercise. that being the same argument I often made about DRTL2.
There are however, still alternatives to rescheduling which I would like to consider after illustrating my viewpoint as a player. As a player in this tournament, I have gone out of my way to play matches... Last week, I was on a business trip, left work, went straight to the hotel, skipping out on supper, moved the furnishing in the room so I could get closer to the access point because the signal was god awful and played a Bo5 against Aeghrur, didn't complain for a second. Honestly, if you want to play BW, most likely, there's a way to play BW. I don't have a problem with rescheduling, but when moving an entire 2 rounds is discussed, I always get a bit edgy because I don't see how it's reasonable that the people don't have enough dedication to play a single game of BW all week.
I have a proposal which would also solve the problem of W.Os in the Semi-Final. Simply put, rather than reschedule the entire round as well as the finals, put the W.Os in the Ro8. If the players who are here can't find it in themselves to play one series this week, and can't even make an honest effort to do so, let their opponents from the Ro8 play.

We still use our YouTube channel to post all of our VODs but we do Live Stream now becasue I have the ability to do so now. My schedule is a little shaky like of specific times I'm going to cast today so I'm thinking between starting like 7 ~ 7:45ish EST.

Eywa if you want the walk over because your opponent cannot re-schedule whitin one week say it . Its your right as a player in the tournament. Pm if you don' t want to post it here. however it would be nice to have actual semifinals. There are 4 players involved. Don' t seem so difficult to me.

I believe you can automatically save vods using FMLE. In your panel options choose output. Then go look for save to file and enable it. It should save the VOD in flv in your root or default video folder.

The best way to do full screen casting is to use FRAPS however you have to pay for the program and you do not stream with it. Also you need a video editor to compress the file and to add w/e titles / overlays you are adding.
