Flash rolled KawaiiRice pretty badly when Flash had only been playing for 1-2 weeks. Maybe I'm alone in thinking we're going to get to see some pretty good SC2 tonight, and maybe even an innovation or two. | ||

What was notable about that game was how smooth Flash's 14 CC opening was, and how there was really no time where KR had an advantage. If Flash was that good after just a little time playing, his play must be pretty good by now. | ||

Kinda excited to see how this is gonna turn out to be honest, hopefully mixing the two games doesnt make it so they half practice both and as a result show mediocre games in both games. | ||

I think, if the games aren't good, Terrans going Mech in SC2 might also be a bit of a draw, just because it always seems to kind of work, and SC2 fans might be interested to see if BW pros can work the kinks out. tl;dr: If there isn't at least one SC2 game that's really good or something not seen often in SC2 normally (good mech, carriers, etc), then KeSPA should be sweating. If there is, GOM should be sweating. Edit: Oh wait, this isn't today? | ||

btw, yeah im enjoying sc2, although bw is still the better game. Why am I making the switch then? Because I followed the Kespa players since the very start and I want to follow them. I love watching as much as playing and Sc2 is unfortunately the future. Since watching a game I don't play isnt very fun, I gave it a chance and I like the game so far. | ||

It is what it is ("Decent", IMO, with HotS likely to upgrade it to "pretty good"), and I hope the cross-pollination with BW for a lot of younger SC2 fans inspires them to be a bit more demanding of what they want out of the game. Nitpick: The unit you're thinking of is called the Diamondback, and is useless even in the campaign. The Viper is the HotS version of the defiler | ||
