He could have defended his macro hatch if he kept it inside his main. 3) Giving free roach kills away by trying to tunnel under the FF when there was an observer overhead. 4) Tunneling his roaches under the FF into a choke point at the Protoss ramp. It's obvious he lacks practice at SC2. He needs DRG or Nestea to tutor him on how to play Zerg effectively in SC2. JD has the potential to be the best Zerg play in SC2, but he has to put in the practice time and find the right guidance if he wants to be good. He also needs longer then a month lol. You have to give ALL the bw players more then a month to get good at sc2, with them having to practice both sc2 and bw you should give them 6+ months before making any judgements on how bad they are still. Anybody expecting these sc2 games to be top tier level are in for disappointment, if they were already at top tier level that would be insane.

It'll be slightly longer for zergs in general too I suspect. They have to learn to make all the right reads and timings so they can respond appropriately to things, while for the most part their opponents will dictate the pace of the games. Sun could happily grind away refining his 2base timing to a point where it hit fast and he knew what he wanted to do, while if JD wasn't planning a bust he had to be practiced on a far broader set of ideas.

Im still a newbie on sc2 but I think FFs are pretty gay.
