They destroyed the regular rounds and even won the Winners League trophy. Yes it was at the beach and all and to the context of KT/KTF finally winning their first championship, it was like climbing up the mountain. It was the first championship for everyone on the roster so there would be alot of emotion for sure, but, take note, reach and yellow were still on ACE when they won that. In the 2nd season though, KT was struggling mightily in the regular rounds. Truthfully, they probably wouldnt have been in the playoffs if not for double rounds of Winners League. Also, at that time when violet had 2 consecutive 3-kills, he got diagnosed with Leukemia. That was a huge blow for the team not only emotionally but because Violet was really one of their core players. They started from the bottom in the playoffs (actually finished 3rd in standings but only 1st and 2nd were seeded) and when they finally won in the finals it was definitely more emotional than the first one for several reasons: 1. No one really expected them to win it all that season. 2. Violet's condition. 3. They actually came back down from 3-1 to win that (Clutch game by hoejja). 4. Flash proving the myth that he is weak against Best by beating him twice. 5. Their coach was getting married. 6. REACH'S FIRST PROLEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP. It didnt actually "go quite as planned". The finals probablylooks dull on paper since if you look at the results you'd immediately go "HERP KTFLASH" but that entire SPL 10-11 season was fairy-tale like for both KT and their fans. This season is not as great a story, but it's still amazing. Before the start of the season, many predicted KT to be in last place. Nobody outside of the KT fans expected them to go all the way. They're not even in the discussion for the contenders. Early on, the doubters were right. KT was off to a 0-3 start and in last place. But look where they're at now. Grand Finals again. This is why I'm a KT Rolster fan. They show the power of the human spirit. They show me what happens if you believe fervently and work hard towards your goals, and that there's no such thing as a mountain too difficult to climb. | ||

KT was predicted 1st place and was considered strongest team pre-season. Only when they went 0-3 at the start of the season that people began to say otherwise. Did you even read the pre-season team ranking thread ? | ||

Everyone thought kt is going to ride the momentum from their grand finals and play it well but you know since this year proleague there is no winner league . Everyone was trashing kt rolster for being a one man team and being number 1 spot in proleague standing is going to be hard and surprisingly KT played really bad in the starting of this year season . So what Winechu said was right and that pre season team ranking was just merely making assumption base on last year performance which may or may not manifest itself. Perhaps that was the sentiment after they had started 0-3. Thanks for the correction. Nonetheless at that point, they weren't favoured at all to say the least. That was the point because the post that ILoveKT quoted implied that KT's run is routine and really detracted from it. | ||

 Really hoped for day 3. SKT chose Chain Reaction as an ACE map, they have prepared something really crazy on this map. I expect to see Fantasy on this map and Flash as even more unexpeceted contra decision from KT coaches! | ||

The rivalry first started when both teams became the power houses of the league. In 2010, kt thrashes thru regular season to crush skt. 2011, with the lose of violet and yellow, we still climbed that mountain, blessed by double winners league, and rode on the back god (young ho) a nd prevailed over skt in the ace match. Now, 2012, the year the mayans say will be the end of us all. The rivalry is back, the stakes are high, and there are massive amounts of fangirl fights. All hell will break loose. KT FIGHTING!!! | ||
