Also, may I remind you that the two ladder tours have very few signups! Please don't forget to do so! http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/tourney/view/16618.html 21 CET http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/tourney/view/16619.html 21 EST At this level of play, there's no such thing as a rock paper scissors match up. Any BO can be overcome by pure skill differential.

I'd like to address my statements concerning maps and my actions against Dsyxelic that went down yesterday. First and foremost, I'd like to give my sincerest apologies to Dsyxelic for the way I responded to him. I realize that those were in no way helpful or constructive answers. I feel that I treated your with disrespect and I ask your forgiveness. My previous actions were due to a build up of stress I received from multiple parties questioning my judgement concerning the maps. Secondly, allow me to explain myself concerning my choices for maps: There is 1 map in the finals that differentiate from the rest of the tournament. I made my decision based on map balance, activity, and quality. If players cannot in one week learn one map for the finals of a prized tournament, they do not deserve to win a tournament of such high standards. Yes, this is for C ranks, that could be an argument. Let's address that. C ranks, a starleague, who would've thought it? The whole point of this league is to improve the yellow ranks and possibly move some into the lower blue ranks, and adding map knowledge and how to play on particular maps in specific scenarios is part of a higher level of gaming. Why shouldn't all maps be repeated over and over? Because we've already seen what people can do on those maps. That defeats the purpose of a STARleague. The finals of a major league should not be repetitive in any sense, especially in map presence, maybe map concept, but not exact repetition. The finals are the best players, you don't have to worry about good games. Point is, you did not think out the aspects of the level of the tournament you were speaking about, but I deeply appreciate your concern. Sincerely, Shimy

![]() Congratulations to him and the rest of the tour participants! Coming from D- at the beginning of the tournament, ProfProtoss has managed to battle his way back to spot #32 giving him a real shot at qualifying! Best of luck. Also, Ladder Tour #7 will begin at 9PM EST! Sign ups can be found here. Please do not forget to check in or else the tournament automatically creates a bracket without you in it leaving yourself out of the tour and a shot at some pts ^^ Good luck to all of you in these next 6 days!
