There have been PMs sent about certain players who are suspected of signing up while C- or higher. I think discussing it in the open is the only method. | ||

So far this ladder season, I've lost to 1 legit D/D+ rank while using P and that was because my macro floated to 10k/10k after I had gotten a decisive advantage. With that being said, it is a small sample (8/9), however it does mean something about skill. Being as you stomped that D+ skill of mine x2, I have a hard time believing that you're any less than C-. | ||

That is, he had a BO advantage and made a decision that almost costed him the game. But his units were alive so he contained you. then you massed cannons at your main while he recovered and expanded. and you had no units to break the contain. zZz. Also, you said you "would've beat him ez" at the end of that game. @_@. | ||

I know, I was pretty mad at the end of the game and though I said I should have ez'd him, he also said that I thought the game was closer than it really was. So two completely different viewpoints on it, can't rely on what the players say in game. In the end, I accept his conclusion, he beat me and he also beat me in DRTL season 1. | ||

I can say many things. I can say that you're bad. I can say that PvP is a volatile match-up, and is also my best. I can agree that 2 games is a small sample size. I can say that I won due to your mistakes not my successes (dropping reaver on ramp; making 12 cannons; mistakes not fitting of even a D+ player imo). However, all of this is irrelevant in the face of 89-166. My D+ ranking is nothing short of fact. Yea I touched C- a few times over the season, long enough to lose 3 games in a row and fall back to D+. Also, watch my game vs. Dewski and tell me I am C-. Going by your logic, him beating me would mean that you 'have a hard time believing that he's any less than C.' Clearly should be removed imo. Think of how I feel. Even though C is not that high of a rank, I was pretty proud of myself for attaining it. I played maybe 10 games of BW in the 8-9 months that followed my getting C and C- shortly after, I didn't even have a keyboard. To make up for lost time, I just played the most intensive season of BW ever (I've NEVER played more than 100 games a season), hoping to improve. Instead, I went 89-166, and noticed how my skills actually deteriorated the more I played. I gave up on improving. Being that I was a D+ player, I joined D ranks team league. Now I'm being persecuted because I was once C. If I had the skill of a C player, do you think I'd finish 89-166? You think I enjoy the fact that I have gotten worse? Or do you think I faked an entire season so I could play in this league? Fuck this. | ||

It's been two-three years since I've taken this game seriously again. I know where I'm at. Given time, and with the right practice partners, I could easily obtain a C-/C rank again. But sadly, Iccup has provided worse competition, not better, since SC2. Now, I hear the Fish server is open, so maybe everybody just moved there, but I know most of the Korean's did move there, hence that would be a better gauge of skill level then current Iccup. Babo, I'm just talking hype. I wasn't attacking you personally. Back in the day, this sort of stuff was ok and accepted. If things have changed, please let me know that I'm overstepping my bounds. It seems like everybody is getting fired up over a small comment I made to promote competition. It wasn't a direct assault. | ||

I don't know if it will work perfectly, but the wheels have started turning and we can just wait and see what comes of it. | ||
