After receiving a generous sponsorship from Altitude for Altitude's International StarLeague and indulging in an abundance of Godiva milk chocolate, I felt that the Brood War community needed a treat as well. As some might know, I choreographed ISL1, in which the replays were released, and ISL2, in which the replays have been collecting dust in my archives. Today, that ceases to be a truth.
Simply put, you can now download not only the ISL2 replays from AltitudeISL.net front page, but every single qualifier's replays after the completion of the casts, inclusive, but not limited to this qualifier.
Hm I registered but can we goto any qualifier or we have to say before hand if we're going, and if that is the case can we drop out at any time or does that count as one of your 3 trials?

When you register, you register for the qualifier THAT week. Don't know why you registered already, since it doesn't open until 22CET tomorrow. If you drop out, it will count against your 3 tries, or else you could screw everyone. The only time that you can drop out once you have registered is before the brackets will be randomized (see above).

Me and LocDog just went over this (only mention him because of your friendship). The IP's will be strictly for tracing, I want to see inside of your windows from my computer. I have all ISL1 and ISL2 IP's stored on my computer, and will match locations.

Yes.
how do we do it? by indicate the qualifier number in the register email?
Registering for each qualifier separately. For instance, for the first one, e-mail on the 13th at 22:01CET, for the second, on the 20th at the same time... and so forth for Mondays (listed as qualifier opener in the OP).
uh, I like how more than half the replies here could have been avoided if people would for once read something that they want to take part in.. I am not a big fan of the full name thing either, but wtf is he gonna do with that anyway?
pity we cant use smurfs, it was allways fun to guess whos hiding under id i also dont like the rule about players having only 3 qualification attempt but well.. im not the one who's in charge anyways thanks for great tournament and gl to everyone! also hope to see some super gosus participating in this!

So many redundant questions, it's hard to answer them. I suggest everyone posting re-reads the thread, it is well laid out. The full name is for professional purposes, ease for the organization, and counter abuse. + Show Spoiler [Name] +
I already have enough info on every single person from ISL1/2/various tournaments to do just about anything I wanted, if you don't trust me, don't participate.

Holy shit, is that the real Asmodey who's in this bracket ?!
Yes!!!
I can't express how much I want to see a revival of the dt/obs rush ->three forge off of 2 bases-> 30 minute game where neither player gets above 120 supply strategy
edit: in PvT obv, it would just be silly in other matchups.
Some brackets are very cute for the low ranked people I never heard of at least we will get a few entertaining matches and I feel bad for the good players who have hard brackets because only ONE of each bracket will qualify.
It seems after a long day of getting "why am I not signed up?" messages that the OP wasn't entirely clear to non-native English speakers on the registration times, or dates. So in the OP there is now a spoiler explaining when you can sign up, courtesy of Pholon's post, and when that opportunity ceases to exist. Sorry for the inconvenience for those who had a trouble deciphering the OP.
Well, whoever Rocky is, I will have to be working so if we could reschedule our match for another time that would be great, please PM me or whatever to let me know...I'm not sure how I am supposed to contact my opponent.
EDIT : I have to work from 5;30 PM EST to 10;30 PM EST tomorrow, so if we could play before or after that tomorrow that would be great, as you said that is alright if we both agree, right?....
EDIT 2 : After re reading I guess it is not ok to play the games before or after the scheduled time, I thought I read someone ask if they could and you said they could, if not then I guess I will just have to play in the next qualifier. T_T , I hate having a job but gotta make money.
Ah, looks like there will be a break from SPL on the 31st before the finals the following week, so I might just have to wait for that qualifier to play.
For tomorrow I'm just gonna do SPL at 17 CET as normal. If we get short matches that end by 19 CET then I'll play in this, otherwise I'm afraid I'll have to give a WO

All in all there were 3 "aces" in ToT) A long time ago, like 2003 or so it was ret, back then where his nickname was ToT)aCe( Then some years after that, don't know exactly when, but probably something like 2007 or 2008 it was the hungarian Ace, that is now sas.ace After him there was me, joining in 2009.
Why are there always only like 2 replays or no replays in the ro64 folder? Do you just choose the best replays (although they weren't that spectacular...)? Or are most of the replays missing for some reason?

Ro64 is Bo1, and there are a good number of byes. There should only be 8 Ro64 games total.

Please note that because of the low number of sign-ups, everyone skips the first round. Please take this into account when selecting the maps to play on. (i.e. everyone will start with a Ro32, Best-of-3 on Destination, Jade, Sniper Ridge)

I'm not going to put my opinion on what was done in that thread, only comment: I fail to understand how it deserves a bump now any more than it did at the announcement of the X amount of leagues/tournaments which Semih has played in since the release of SC2 including ISL, GC, iCC-CL and just about anything in between because, it was obviously something that had been neglected before hand...
Just so I don't get anyone raging at me, I'm not saying it doesn't deserve to be bumped and I'm not saying that it is good that it has been bumped either, just asking why now as opposed to an earlier time?

I was very interested to hear his side back when this happened because I refused to believe somebody in bw community was so f'd up.
dug this up from facebook chat which was nearly 2 years ago now...
Loudog and his friend were suppose to go to deja's house and from there drive down to storr's. Lou called me on friday night saying he broke down about 20 minutes away from my house so i went to give him a jump but his car was fuckin ruined beyond repair. So i took them to nnilf's place where i was going originally and we told deja we wuld drive 2 hours out of our way to come get him so he wouldnt have to drive alone. So the next day we go get him and go down to storr's. As soon as we get to storr's he secludes himself from us and starts acting all dickish towards me. I had planned on winning the LAN which would have given me the money i needed to get back home a lot easier. But since i didnt win the LAN i barely got any money and he never gave me any money for gas. When i asked him for money at the korean BBQ he just stared at me and never answered. So after all that i was just like, why would i drive an extra 2 hours out of my way again and spend money that i dont have to take this guy whose been acting like a dick the whole time. Storr blew this thing way out of proportion. I never took his booze, and his definition of trashing his house is leaving a few cd's laying around. He also made it seem like i left deja "stranded" in the middle of nowhere when all i did was leave him at storr's house. All that happened was just a bunch of bad turn of events that made me cut my losses, and unfortunately deja was one of those. I never ate at the BBQ so i didnt ditch out on any bill there and yea i admit i didnt pay the LAN fee because again i figured i wasnt gonna be there again because there wuldnt be any more of those LAN's so i was just saving money that i desperately needed to get home. This would have been a whole different story if i was such an arrogant dick and just moved my fucking seat in the LAN center which most likely would have aided me in my success of winning the LAN. That way i wuld have won a lot more money and been in an overall better mood. And thats basically that.
I think this is a cool little BW event and I think Semih would have the right to play in it. I mean his story, and Loudog's story, haven't changed in the 2 years past the event. They never ate BBQ, and there's pictures of them being in the restaurant but not eating.
They left the LAN and weren't going to pay, but once they cooled off, they did pay
And both reported being harassed as the events leaded up to the last day, and the lack of gas money from the person who got left behind was the final straw.
Do I think that's right? No, of course not. Life time ban? Probably not.. I mean, SC2GG lifted their bans on Loudog and Semih last summer... (well, I know they unbanned Lou for sure... pretty sure they unbanned Semih as well).
So if they can forgive and forget, why can't TL - the premier site of BW/SC2 ;D I mean, heck, they're not the -ex that cannot be named.
Regardless, not to get off track. These qualifiers are cool, albeit taking a little long, it should be worth the wait.
I don't forgive Semih. Especially as the last time we talked, he said "I hope you come to MLG Columbus so I can kick your ass".
I did go, and he didn't do anything. His demeanor has not changed, and I personally do not accept him as someone I would want the foreigner scene to be looking up to. I can only give my opinion, and Semih has made no effort to ever reconcile what he had done in his past.
