Best's PvZ is clearly much improved and on a whole new level. Beating the titans of JD, Hydra, and SK is some legit play. However, whether he has truly transformed into a great PvZer won't be answered until we see prolonged success in the MU. Many players have had some godly runs from 5, or even 10, games but then slipped back to a more average level. Given the improved control and generally increased solidness of his play so far though I think we'll be seeing solid PvZ from Best in the months to come though.

Also, can anyone explain why the audience was repeatedly shouting "mine" at one point? It's not like there weren't any mines about to blow up. Maybe they were trying to yell at the terran to use his mines cos the observer was showing there were unused mines on the vults.

The commentators were doing it too =/ But you're right about that one mine not changing the game. Bisu has always been weak against timing pushes because he actually has to use PvT micro and not just get by on good mechanics.

I love him to death however I cannot defend his play. A perfect counterpart of this game is the WCG Bisu vs Flash game on Heartbreak Ridge where similar things went down, here he was lacking everything that made that game good. From what I can remember, there was only a couple times where he attempted to destroy the mines with his goons This isn't like Canata vs Jaedong where Canata stepped up his game immensely, this was just........bad No I understand that. But sometimes even S class players have off days. I feel like people think Bisu is entitled to every single win simply because he is Bisu. The loss surely doesn't mean his PvT "degenerated into such mediocrity" by any means (unless the remark was meant to be sarcastic). He's 8-2 in his last PvTs; hardly mediocre. If a S class player didn't play sloppy and slip up once in a while, then he'd have 0 losses. I could also say the same thing about JD vs Canata. It was a combo of JD being stupid and Canata playing well. It's classic coulda, woulda, shoulda for both games. He could have microed his dragoons better, he should have attacked at a better position, he would have won the game, etc. Sometimes you just have to admit he got outplayed. Hindsight is 20/20 afterall.

In fact, JD's grand strategy was so bad that it makes it seem possible that Savior is actually back in the game, fixing matches from "beyond the grave". Meanwhile, Sin vs Bisu actually did have a Bisu with a good strat in mind with acceptable micro, but he was constantly trolled by bad luck. The loss of the 4 probes may have cost Bisu the game, since it was at least 350 minerals in lost income and cost to replace the probes, and there were some close battles to the point that I think 3 goons or 4 zealots would have made the difference. Despite that, I give my Kudos to Sin for knowing that he would never win in a macro war, and had to fight early and aggressively in order to have a chance at victory.
