SKT Zergs vs KT Zergs, or a competition of who will fail less? For SKT's part, we have the venerable and distinguished lineup of Captain s2, Former-Captain Hyuk (probably got promoted to Major or something - Major Hyuk, got a nice ring to it), and n.die_soO (my favorite of the bunch). Truth be told, that's a pretty bad lineup. But if you look a little deeper, you will see that we have: 1. normal ZvZ - s2/Hyuk 2. good ZvP - soO 3. lol ZvT - Hyuk So that amounts to a normal Z lineup, depending on how well we snipe. I agree with the coaching analysis on SKT, in that their players tend to prepare for maps, and not specifically opponents except for the rare occasion when the ace is pretty obvious (ex: Flash). I do believe, however, that the Z lineup has potential if used not specifically on maps but to snipe players, as CJ is prone to do.The prep time allows an otherwise mediocre proleague member to become an asset because of the higher chance of upsetting someone with a snipe. In particular, I think the key snipe would be soO vs Stats because he's the KT player who's sure to be sent out looking for a win (aside from Flash, who's a sure win). On KT's side we have CH, Action, and Hoejja. Again, it's not a very formidable lineup. But just like SKT, KT's Zerg line has it covered: 1. ZvZ - CH 2. ZvP - Hoejja 3. ZvT - Action Actually, I'd consider KT's Zergs much better were it not for the fact that soO is a nightmare in ZvP. If KT can get CH the proper matchup, I believe the KT Zerg line is strong enough to put the fate of KT on the hands of Stats (since Flash, again, is a sure win by most standards). So really, the entire battle will be on how predictable KT can be for SKT on which map they'll put Stats on and in what matchup (since all matchups will potentially be difficult for him). If SKT is able to slug it out until they can snipe Stats with soO or Fantasy, then they win. Otherwise, if Stat gets a good matchup like Best or any non-soO Zerg, then that's 2 wins for KT with the final one being a good snipe using a Zerg. So I dunno, I think the chances of both teams will fall upon how well their coaching staff can use their respective (and respectable?) Zerg lineups against the two star-driven teams. My guess is as good as yours, but I trust in SKT's firepower vs Stats and predict that we'll get this one 3-1, with BvZ, Fantasy vs Stats, and a clutch Zerg snipe on Action. | ||

Their T line may be better than hours, but their T line can bring home ONE win at best (Mind isn't exactly part of their T line, same way Paralyze isn't exactly part of our P line). But our Ps, often bring home 2 wins, even 3 wins on a good day. I maintain that though our victory is pretty much decided, the degree of that victory lies in whether we can match our 2nd Ace (Fantasy) against theirs (Stats). | ||

The problem is still matching up properly. An otherwise guaranteed win in Bisu can quickly end up as a loss if he faces Flash or a prepared Stats. Same goes for Fantasy. Ideally, FBB should avoid Flash completely because that's not really just one loss, that's one loss AND another lost opportunity for a win. Flash brings an entirely new dimension into a normal BW team game. @ Lightwip: I thought soO had pretty much proven his vP last season + OSL? I know he got owned by Jangbi but that was the legend of the fall. EDIT: Minus his last 6 games (which really hurts the argument, but I go on faith of what I saw last season), he's been a pretty good sniper. | ||
